I live in the area of Asheville that had astonishing flooding damage last year. I can tell you flood damage can occur in places and in ways that no one could possibly imagine. It is foolish to jump to conclusions based on a thirty second video clip.

That’s crazy!! Poor people lost everything. What do you try to grab before you have to get out of the building and before the water is too high? I’ve often wondered what I would grab. Pictures, all of my jewelry, things that my husband bought me that was special because he’s not with me anymore since his death? And all of these would be after I had my pet secured. Because I don’t think they allow you to go through the rubble to collect your items.
