Dragon Ball GT: A MASSIVE Review

Just finished the baby saga, once it gets going I’ve got to say GT is alright so far! Definitely took too long to really get into though

I know it was bad I didn't know it was that bad dragon Ball GT straight trash 🗑️ only super Saiyan 4 was good everything else was hot garbage

GT has good stuff but I like super MUCH MUCH more I mean GT is cool for giving us ssj4 and gogeta and baby but every thing else is a HARD stop. The first few episodes are just completely unwatchable and the 17 arc is just god awful and the omega shinron doesn’t make a lot of sense but the idea of the black star dragon balls are cool but every thing else is buns and people love to shit on supers first animations and color changes for transformations but it’s the same series with the butt ugly cell and Frieza but both aren’t perfect so

Super 17s fight is the dumbest fight ive ever seen. Goku has fought androids that suck ki. He’s also a martial artist why does he act like he’s no option other than ki blasts. It pisses me off cuz gt fans like to talk about how out of character super goku is but they actively dickride this version of goku

I love the final episode of this series almost more than anything in dragon ball in its entirety. The emotional elements are amazing. It makes me really hope that dragon ball super or what ever future series could eventually give us a true ending as emotional and heart felt as this.

I would like to just thank the creators of dragon ball super for disappointing me so hard that It made me go back and give GT a chance ... GT was so much more enjoyable than super

It just felt not quite like DBZ, but if you think about it as being it's own thing without comparing it to DBZ it was actually enjoyable

So my question is did Goku die at the end?

The balls going into space being a side effect of them trying to return to Namek without Namek existing feels like it would have made enough sense. But we really get no explanation at all.

GT had a decent amount of boring filler stuff, and I'm a slut for the crazy power ups, but I did really enjoy GT. The ending is great and I hope something like that happens at the end of the series, maybe Goku AND Vegeta have to leave because they are too powerful, and Gohan and Uub have to protect the Earth now.

Super 17 is the literal definition of style over substance in the worst way possible. Cool design terrible story

So next to no one? In all honesty you could remove this arc entirely and nothing of value would be lost, while I do like GT, it’s for its more cooler ideas like Super Saiyan 4, Baby, and the shadow dragons, it’s kinda infuriating that everything else is just mind numbingly boring at best.

See, I feel like people ignore how insanely contrived all of DBZ is while shitting on GT for its own contrivances.

The bulk of the Shadow Dragons sucked so hard that they never bother putting most of them in any of the video games.

Gogeta playing with Shenron was one of my favorite parts of the entire series 😢

WAAAAY to much logic was applied and it's kinda unfair because if you did the same to any other parts of DB then this wouldn't have been the worst. All of DB is Goku making dumb decisions that put others at risk and you see that mostly in super.

I have always been the one weirdo that enjoys the first half of GT. A lot of the episodes are random little adventures. Reminds me of some of the older DragonBall episodes. But in space
