Never have I ever turned my head to look over shoulder. Mirrors only. Guess I've been lucky?? Recall from a defensive driving course instructed to position the mirrors such that full view of back and sides. Think the course made a point of never turning; always keep head facing ahead; use eyes only to shift field of vision. If you cannot see the mirros by shifting eyes only then the mirrors are not set properly. Thoughts?
Ответитьand then you see someone pop up in front of you because you were looking to your side while turning
Ответитьwhy did you have to pull into the right lane after you got into the left lane ?
Ответить👌🏽thanks

ОтветитьThanks I have a hard time checking and looking over my blind spot I’m doing my test on oct 20th 😊
ОтветитьThank you very mucho … your videos are a help to me in my practice clases de driving.
ОтветитьPassed my road test today ☺️☺️watched this video to show me how to shoulder check
ОтветитьDo you turn on turn signal then check mirrors and over shoulder?
ОтветитьSMOG
ОтветитьQuestion do i need to reduce my speed when changing lanes or just stay at a pace speed? Another question do I need to signal first then check mirrors or the opposite way then change?
ОтветитьI still remember (and use) what they taught me in high school back in the late 80's when they still had driver's ed. S.M.O.G!!! Signal, Mirror, Over-the-Shoulder, Go!
ОтветитьSimple and to the point with very clear explanation. Thank you
ОтветитьThis is a really good video. Any chance you have it in spanish?
ОтветитьThank you sir. Got some road tests coming up and this helps a lot :)
ОтветитьYup, that was the blind spot. He didn't do a shoulder check.
ОтветитьSimple and straight to the point. Thank you it’s very helpful ☺️
ОтветитьYou saved my life💜
ОтветитьThank You for Sharing
Ответитьty today is my test!!!
ОтветитьSo let’s say I turn on my turn signal to change lanes and then check my mirrors and blind spot but I then find out it’s not safe to change lanes. Should I then turn off my turn single until it is safe or just leave it on and then change lanes when it is safe?
ОтветитьI have been doing this for decades.... And on a multilane highway, I also check the trend in the lane on the OTHER side of the one I am moving into- MANY times this has saved me from a driver changing from the OTHER side of the lane I am going into! I always try to practice 360 observations when driving: when you are driving, you are responsible for ALL the cars around you, and paying attention to who is where, and how they are moving is very important- speed, direction, possible actions...
ОтветитьFailed my 3rd driving test for 6 counts of not shoulder checking... Hopefully will pass next time.
ОтветитьExactly what i am looking for. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you, God bless
ОтветитьHow to stay on your lane when doing shoulder check coz when I do, I notice I am slowly swerving sideway. 😂
ОтветитьI sometimes move my body and it moves the when which is a bad habit
You must be sure there is nothing Infront too before you look back Infront and hit something
I picked this habit up from riding motorbikes
ОтветитьI feel comfortable right to left but less sure going from left to right . I think this will help thanks
ОтветитьThanks Stan ❤
ОтветитьTHANK YOU VERY MUCH 👍👍
ОтветитьIf there IS a car how do you know if it is a safe distance. This video half explained things
ОтветитьDo I shoulder check one or twice or what’s the right way for behind the wheel test? (CA)
ОтветитьIn the UK, you have to check your mirror before signal which doesn't come natural to me
ОтветитьShould I turn on signal before I do checks?
ОтветитьMy G2 instructor told me to also check right mirror when signaling left.
ОтветитьWould you be able to make a video on how to switch lanes and you have to speed up or slow down until there’s enough of a gap to actually switch lanes ? ❤
ОтветитьIn first animation it shows the back window and second time it show front window
ОтветитьIt's frightening to think that most drivers don't shoulder check when turning or changing lanes. It's the first skill that drivers lose after getting their license. Shoulder (head) checks will reduce the chances of colliding with other road users (especially cyclists, pedestrians, and motorcycle riders) when changing direction of your vehicle. Create this driving habit to be a safer, smarter driver. All the best, Cheers Rick
ОтветитьPlease do a video to show beginner drivers how to determine their front wheel position when driving
ОтветитьThanks bro. Road test in two days.
ОтветитьThank you in advance 🙏
ОтветитьThank you so much! Most clear explanation ever
ОтветитьRoad test today 🎉 thank you for the tips
