ОтветитьBeautiful sewing projects Whitney and thank you for doing a tag. I was actually thinking of doing the same for my fav sewing projects then I saw your video! <3
ОтветитьLove the twirly dress! And the photo of you by the car is perfect! :)
ОтветитьI would love to see a tutorial on the soft shell toddler carrier! it looks so wonderful!
ОтветитьThanks Whitney for doing a tutorial on the quilt! I love it! The dress looks awesome and I love the teal color. Your hats are too cute. 😎
ОтветитьCant wait to see more of your quilt. Your dress is amazing 😀
ОтветитьMy favorite will always be Tenzin haha :D going to our little con in Prague in less than a month and I should probably start working on a cosplay (I just can't decide). I've got new sewing machine for xmas, the old one just always ate the fabric (my mum gave that one to me and she got it in like 1985..) so I'm excited that I can finally don't have to hand sew most of the parts. I'll always like your vids :) I hope you have a nice day <3
ОтветитьI LOVE your projects and am in awe of how easy they appear to be. Can't wait to see the new quilt one. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьLove all the projects!!
ОтветитьThe blue dress you made for your costume final is so beautiful! I love the details on the bodice 😍
ОтветитьGreat retrospective. It shows that your skills came from way back in teenage years and that you definetly know what you are talking about in sewing related stuff. I hope you receive all the success and rewards for all the hard work you're doing.
ОтветитьLooking forward to the quilt video. My favorite makes are my wedding gown, the christening gown for my children and the camo coat for my Snoopy Joe.
ОтветитьHappy birthday whitney!! (and to Jerimiah and Peyton too) Thanks for sharing your favs! love the baby carriers :)
ОтветитьOne of favorite sewing projects is one that I made back when my daughter was in 5k, she was a pilgrim, I had to make a long dress with a apron, an a hat with a tie and the brim had to be stiff, it was not easy but I manged to get it done. That is my all time favorite thing that I have sown over the years, I have also made her many clothes and lots of other projects in my many years of sewing. I learned to sew back when I was in school, needles to say that has been several years ago and I'm glad to have learned how to sew, my teacher would be very proud.
ОтветитьYou may want to try a Hong Kong finish on the seams of the dress you made in college. You know how to make bias binding that's a big help Any place that's too small to finish it out, use fray check. You did a beautiful job on it.
ОтветитьAll of your products are awesome, the quilt is gorgeous!!
ОтветитьWait, you're THIRTY? You do NOT look it.
I'm not sure what my top 5 would be, but I'm sure my Centauri (from Babylon 5) costume would be in there. It actually was a formal, with all the different techniques that implies. Plus I altered it to make it look more like the styles I'd seen
Another one would be my recent RenFaire bodice; it was another one where I really had to push my skills and learn new things.
I love that 👗 dress it's so Amazing
ОтветитьWOW!! You were brave with your first projects!! I am a beginner and have been sewing for about 3 or 4 months now and I still choose patterns with only a few pieces and in stretch fabrics so that there is no fitting, zips, buttons etc., yours were amazing!! TFS xx
ОтветитьWould love it if you did a tutorial on the toddler carry sling, My toddler loves to go on walks, but I seem to end up carrying him 😅
ОтветитьI love your creativity and resourcefulness, thank you for sharing your ideas. Has anyone told you that you wear hats really well? 👍
