I really enjoyed Sullivan Gulch, it looks like theres lot to explore ! I know you probably don't want to be up there in the summer seems like a nice place for snakes to hang out. The views are worth the hike though! I am always amazed at the rock formations ! Of course I am always amazed at anything in Colorado after living in Texas! We don't have mountains or big trees , snow an barely have anything green like grass!
ОтветитьGo down to true gulch one more curve sown
ОтветитьI think at that point, you're just 0.3 miles from the Garden Gate trail to the WNW
Ответитьgo mom!
ОтветитьWay to go Nick and Barb! Beautiful scenery as always.
ОтветитьSuch a great trail. I’ve explored more to the right at the tip so thanks for showing the other side of it!
ОтветитьThe exfoliated rocks are pretty cool. Amazing what freezing and thawing can do. I wonder why you don't see that up high on the divide. Might be too dry.
ОтветитьI have been on the ridge many many times as both a Geocacher and as a volunteer for the USFS. If my memory is correct to reach the Garden Gate Trail, one can descend to the True Gulch and the head West. And I must say your videos really make by day. I have hiked so many trails up there, and now that I can't get up there I have some awesome memories looking at these videos. Thank You.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed watching this one. That one strange rock formation looked like a pile of stone tablets. Pretty wild. I will have to tell my parents about this trail. My mom's maiden name is Sullivan. I'm hoping to be coming out there in August, brother. Maybe we can meet up again, this time on purpose lol. Be safe, and enjoy!
ОтветитьLovely to hear own music used in video like this. Cheers. :)
ОтветитьApril 25th?
I was going to go hike on that trail that day, but got side tracked when I spotted another motorcyclist with the same model I have and we went up Storm Mountain, a bit muddy and snowy and I couldn't go as far as I was hoping to.
