TRYING OUT THE TEMU CUTTING DIES

I recently purchased a lot of Temu dies. I bought quite a few envelope dies. The problem I had with those dies (all of them) is that the fold lines weren't scored well enough to actually make clean folds. Plus, the envelopes were teeny. I didn't expect an A2 envelope, but I thought some of them were at least gift card size, and they were not. Their dimensions are for the whole die dimensions, not the folded (if you could fold them neatly) size. I called customer service and the great lady immediately refunded my purchase for those dies.

One of the 'flat' type sets I bought had an intricate cut out pattern such as you'd thread ribbon through, except it was way to small for any ribbon. I had to run that die through my Big Shot 12 times, rotating it twice, One corner wouldn't cut at all. A defective corner. However, I was able to pull the die cut out, rotate it 180 degrees, put it back in the die (oh so carefully) and run just the corner into the Big Shot. That cut the corner. I will need to mark that corner as none cutting for future use. Most of the other flat dies cut very well. An intricate tag die didn't cut well unless I ran it through 12 times. I have the chrome bottom cutting plate which usually ensures great cuts on better quality dies.

Over all I am fairly pleased with the Temu dies. I won't purchase shapes that require folding, but many others seem to work quite well. Thanks for your video and your experiences.

i bought many dies from temu. they all bent badly where the rest i have from other people dont.

Great video. Thank you! The card with the butterfly looks like a perfume bottle. You could put a small ribbon bow between the two rectangles so the Happy Birthday looks like the cap.

I have brought a bunch, and they have all been excellent. Sometimes the sandwich needs to change because of the thickness, but great results so far. It's wonderful for those dies that I'm only going to use a few times. They are more flimsy, not as sturdy as the sizzix for example. I brought some magnetic sheets to organise my dies, they stick to my wall above my machine, for the ones I use a lot. They were very inexpensive at Temu and are working really well

Hi Jody I’ve just subscribed to your channel, I also have bought cuttings dies from Temu. I’ve been getting them for a few months now and I find them brilliant and the price is reasonable. I’ve never had any problems with them. ❤🇬🇧🇬🇧

Most of our dies come from China so why wouldn't these work ?. I found dies on there that are Tim Holtz, Stampin up, cottage cutz and others. Some are old die cuts and some are current. You don't get the envelope with the dies. All you get is just the dies at a very cheap price. Like 2 or 3 dollars. The most I have paid is around 7 dollars. If you bought it through the company you will pay anywhere to 30 or 35 dollars.

I’m curious as to the thickness of paper to be used with Temu diecuts. I tried using card stock but it wouldn’t work.

I tend to cut out a new die & it’s in the same bag as the die oh I mark the front of the bag with amount of dies…😀

Temu is a Chinese company..100%.

I’m starting to order from Temu. I love that things I want to cut out are so cheap because realistically I would never use the dies often enough to warrant buying the expensive ones.

I have found it's a 50 50; some work great and some will not cut all the way through

You can just buy the clear
Gems and use any color magic marker on them and the color is permanent on the gems.

I’m a total new bee to all things paper craft. I went crazy on temu and now have all these “things” and have no idea how they go together

How do you cut bigger dies? I have a few I bought that overlap the plates

Heat gun or hair dryer just waved over will get rid of hot glue strings or webs on your projects

I often buy dies from Temu. I spend £15 and get free postage. It's amazing how many things you get for £15!

My first buy from temu just one die didn't work and temu has already said they would replace it. All the rest cut out well. Stamps printed out well with my misti. Pleased with my purchases.

I love Temu. Since their dies never come with a picture or directions, I always take a picture of the ad I buy from then can print it to keep with the die.

I seldom buy dies from anyone other than Temu anymore. I’ve had trouble with a few but by and large they work well. I do a LOT of die cutting and buy multiples of my favorites so I can cut several at one time.

I store dies with multiple parts on magnetic sheets. Keeps the pieces together nicely. I use magnets on an old cookie sheet to hold the dies that I’m working with.

I had good luck with Temu dies and so many choices at a great price

I use little 4 x 6 photo pockets you get with printed photos to hold my die cuts

I have been buying from TEMU for a while now. Only bad experience was 1 stamp left out a word no big deal it was on a sheet of 20 sentiments....every stamp does stamp beautifull, every die has cut perfect for me... I love TEMU !!!!

Order lots of items from Temu. Did order cutting machine for dues and think I wasted my money. Doesn’t seem to cut very well so am disappointed. Lesson learned!!
