Upwork takes 20% not 10%

When you first get interviewed is that where you ask all your questions? And or can you ask your questions through the Upwork messaging ?

If it's someones first time getting hired on Upwork. Is that something that should be communicated through the interview? Or is there a way to implement that into the process?

Guys, when these people don’t make money from the business anymore they start selling courses and telling all the secrets online. 2020 was when all businesses moved online and there was an influx of bookkeepers online that got all the clients and had a good run then people like her come on the internet to sell a dream to everyone then everyone becomes a bookkeeper and the market becomes saturated because of people like her. If she’s really making money do you think she will be on the internet telling all her secrets? Have you ever seen Microsoft tell Apple how they get clients? These people saturate the market for you then run away from the profession because they get paid from the courses. It’s like a stab in the back, they tell you to do something while saturating the market for you then leave. They don’t care because the courses become part of their income and they r not worried about the market becoming saturated because they can just make money off of courses. The more saturated the market the better for them because everyone is buying courses... but she already messed up the business for others that are working hard to make it. This only benefit them

So you need to keep the clients on unpwork and they take a percentage with each invoice? So if I have a client and I bill him $500 per month, am I getting charged 20% a month by unwork so I am really only making $400 per month?

Can we get client even if we no have experience in freelancing but have 1 yr accounting experience in corporate world?

Can you do this while working full time?

How much it would take to get 10(large size clients (£5to7k) if someone Acca student and starting bookeeping is it be done -at 6 to 8 months if we fully dedicated
