Kalki 2898 AD is brilliant! A Bollywood Marvel movie complete with Gods and super-villains,
It is the most fun I've had at the movies since RRR. A visually stunning sci-fi adventure steeped in cultural mythology. I anxiously await a sequel.

The 13th Floor suffers from the misfortune of having been released in theatres simultaneously with The Matrix, and as can always be expected the big budget explosion-fest beat the low budget thinking man's film with a similar plot. The scenes of old Los Angeles are breathtaking. I have rewatched this one, dozens of times since first watching it on the big screen. It holds up amazingly well for a such small personal film.

Both of these are unusual inclusions in a "recommended-viewing" vlog and earned you a subscription.

65 is as "good" as After Earth...
Divergente movies may be quoted as average to good, but the lack of end for the main story is a serious drawback.
The creator is quite good and visually stuning.

Daybreakers is a good vampore movie that is more a sci fi story than a classic vampire one.
The thirteen floor may have been a direct to video at his time, but has a strong story that may have influenced following film on similar subject.
Upgrade may have limited budget but is a very good movie.
I have seen all these movies shortly after their releases, as soon as they were available in video.
Now I "need" to watch the indian one; the principle of a Bollywood sci fi movie is appealing

Did I get 65 wrong? I thought he ended up traveling back 65 million years ago and crashing on earth. The asteroid in the end is the dino killer

13th Floor is the best of this colection, really a great and intelligent story. I loved it when I saw it in a theater.
