Sorry to hear this Martin. I know what your going through, I had a urine infection coupled with kidney stones just over a year ago and the pain is really intensive. Glad you've not got any stones and hope you get better soon and manage to go and relieve yourself easier. Have the best New year's eve fest. you and yours can. Best of Luck

My 60 year old partner had similar to you…..thought it may have been a prostate problem but turned out it was not…was just a water infection,,,nasty but thankfully nothing serious…Hope you get well soon and Happy New Year to you both xx

I live in Holland ( but I’m English) and to be honest I find it appalling that the hospital were treating you in the waiting room! I don’t particularly like living over here but when I hear these kind of tales about British hospitals I am very pleased that I live where I do, it costs a fortune in insurance but we get fantastic treatment. BUT ANYWAY let’s hope that you are quickly back to normal and enjoying that wonderful grub again ❤

Hope you will feel better soon. The funny thing is my niece is in Hospital with the same thing. She went in the day before New Years Eve, but only got the results today. They kept her in hospital due to being one of the early children having an hole in the heart operation. At the age of 12, has she will be 60 in march.

This feels like a bit of deja vu for me! Exactly the same thing happened to my husband, Martin. He was in hospital for two weeks and came home just before Christmas for me to look after him. Please take care of yourself Sharon and get better soon Martin.
