Thanks you jason all the best for you ❤️🇩🇿
ОтветитьHello Jason please put daily blog waiting for you every day
ОтветитьExtremely Beautiful, Enchanting and Elegant Tainan, I had heard only about Taipei, its tallest tower, etc., and not about Tainan. Thank you
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьThank u once again, Jason. I often send these to my adult autistic daughter to share the travel experience together, as we lived in several different countries when she was growning up. A very cool opportunity you afford us to enrich daily life for her.
ОтветитьHayashi is a common family name of a Japanese person. So, I checked it. And I found out the founder of the building is 林方一 (I’m sorry I couldn’t find Japanese pronunciation of his last name, 方一), who is a Japanese.
My next travel destination is Taiwan. So, thank you for your awesome information.
Another great video 👍 you've got a great relaxed and honest way to you vlogs 😃
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos because they are brief and good covering many sight seeing imp places....🌹☺️

ОтветитьExtremely charming city! Tainan is fantastic place! Thanks, Jason!
ОтветитьThank you for this beautiful and relaxing vlog! 😊
ОтветитьHi Jason: Thanks for showing something different. Taiwan seems to be rich in culture and everything is so well maintained. One of my cousins has been living in Taiwan for the past 4 years and the family just loves that country. Their time is almost up and the kids are very reluctant to leave Taiwan.
ОтветитьEverything looks cooziiieh 😍
ОтветитьA very nice coverage of Tainan. The real thing and natural. Thank you
ОтветитьNever been ~ huge contrast from Taipei. Supposed food capital of Taiwan but it's hard to beat what Ive had in Taipei. Cannot wait to check it out next time for the food and history
ОтветитьIt looks really really nice. And doesnt seem to be busy like the rest of Asia
ОтветитьAmazing video.
ОтветитьLooks like you really enjoyed it there. Thanks again John in Chicago
ОтветитьTainan is definitely worth you speding time there - Food, culture and history would make you love it.
ОтветитьI quite disagree with you. I found it not that much different than Taipei.
ОтветитьOk very good
ОтветитьReally enjoying your Taiwan series, it's been on my radar for a while but it's not as easy to find up-to-date info and videos... This really helps with my planning! 👍
Ответить歡迎來到台灣!Welcome to Taiwan !
ОтветитьThank you for your thoughtful introduction of Tainan❤ I’m Taiwanese in the US. Your video is absolutely in-depth and interesting 🎉
ОтветитьYou are such a gentle traveler! I love to see the way your present the things and meet with people. Come in our Bangladesh and enjoy our love & culture please.
ОтветитьThe Hiyashi department store is Taiwan's version of Harrods
ОтветитьI lived there when I was 3 to 8 years old many decades ago; I think I need to go back and see how things have changed. Thanks for this video! 🙏🏻👏🏻👍🏻😊
ОтветитьWelcome to Tainan😂🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьCenturies before the Dutch people came to Taiwan, already many Chinese moved to Tainan, mostly from Fujian and some other coastal areas. Taiwan was not "discovered" by the Dutch as indicated by what you said. You may need to learn some more of Taiwan's history before you made this video.
ОтветитьPipe trape(sewage) in shower drain inside HDB flat can make aids and aids can spread out trough air if you want to know.
ОтветитьHi! thanks for this video :) Tainan looks quite flat. Would you say it would be easy to visit and enjoy Tainan for someone using a wheelchair? :) Any other cities and sites you would recommend (aside from Taipei) for a wheelchair user? thank you!
ОтветитьHow come you pronounce canal like that?
ОтветитьVery cool, super fun video, Jason! Thank you for sharing all of this! My husband and I live deeper south in Taiwan currently, and we adore Tainan based on the small handful of times we've visited. We have yet to visit each of these locations, so now we have a few ideas thanks to you! :) You're awesome!!!
ОтветитьTaiwán is just a part of great China and nothing else! Rather than to fight for unknown rights taiwanese people mustbjoin to China and be even stronger economy in the world leaving behind notorious USA!
ОтветитьSadly Tainan people don’t speak English so you will need a friend to help you speak mandarin. Tainan is most underrated for tourists but is must to see Tainan! Tainan is very fun easy to navigate around the whole city! Tainan also have night mark which is very popular. I miss Tainan already!
ОтветитьI lived in Tainan for 2 years and I love the people, the food, and Taiwan in general
ОтветитьFort Zeelandia was largely intact despite changing hands first to the forces of Koxinga, and later the Qing dynasty. In fact the fort was still manned by the Qing army for the better part of the 19th century. It was actually destroyed by the British navy in the 1868 Camphor War. Up till then the British enjoyed a near monopoly over Taiwan's camphor trade, which was the equivalent of plastic materials today. The trade was very lucrative, and Taiwan was the largest producer in the world. So the Qing government decided to turn it into a state owned industry, and eventually began seizing camphor from the British. In response the British sent Lieutenant Gurdon to take HMS Algrine and HMS Bustard from Hong Kong to Takao. The ships then moved to Anping (former Dutch Fort Zeelandia) and opened fire on the fort on November 25 1868. Qing forces in the area rushed to reinforce the defense of the fort, but the British forces landed at night and took the defending Qing army by surprise. The rout was so complete that the Qing commanding officer Jiang Guo-zhen took poison to avoid capture. After the British sacked Anping, the British informed the Qing government that if they can not freely conduct camphor trade in Taiwan, then they would annex the entire island. The Qing was forced to sign the Camphor Treaty on November 29 1868.
So it was the British who destroyed Fort Zeelandia.
We currently live in Tianan. Uhm, why nobody told you about the Hight Speed Rail??? Could have cut that travel time in 1/2. lol
ОтветитьI’m from Tainan and I’m glad you made this video to introduce it to your audience 🎉
ОтветитьHow impressive with the introduction of Tainan you did! It’s the first time I saw a foreign vlogger goes the deep details of Tainan culture. Well done.
ОтветитьVery nice and informative
ОтветитьHey all, sorry for the gap between the last vlog and this one. Been a very busy week. If you enjoyed this video, please be sure to give it a like. Let me know in the comments below if you'd ever heard of Tainan before!
