Super nice video ! I was wondering about that exact question.

Just wanted to say, 3dB isn't twice louder for human hear. You can get 3dB by using 2 cabinets at the same level instead of one, but that is not twice the level for human hear. Actually, human perceive twice the volume when there is an increase of 10dB (which is a lot, because it is a logarithmic scale)

And the "N" in the FD3-N are normally just for the Korean made FD3 that are in the Ready to Play serie.

(I saw you at guitar summit, De Gier booth, but didn't come to you aha, I tried one of the P 5strings)

Really cool video! Dingwall made a couple of graphics showing the differences between their pickups. Apparently the SFII is more or less like the FD3 but with more low mids and lows, so if I'm not entirely mistaken one could EQ an SFII to sound more like an FD3 by cutting some low end (I prefer cutting to boosting so the other way around is probably not the way to go for me 😸). That's probably why some people say that the SFII sounds more v-shaped, but that V does come from removing mids, just by boosting other parts of the spectrum. Wondering if that' sound reasoning. What's your stance on it? 😸
