Here's a suggestion, Lowes and Home Depot sell a $20.00 bucket top vacuum, the Lowest one is a bit more powerful. I made my Thein Separated from the plastic bucket top and the bottom approximate 1/3 of a bucket, works pretty good. I think the hoses cost more than the unit (Firehouse Subs sold me two buckets with tops for 4 bucks total). If your interested I could send you a few pictures.
ОтветитьVery clever and very well done. Thanks for sharing.

ОтветитьCarl---When are you planning to make the plans available? I would like to build a combination sander based on your design. You have incorporated some very clever features for belt tension and tracking. Where did you find the bearings?
ОтветитьGood work as usual
ОтветитьHu Carl, hope all us we'll. Thanks for the videos.

Ответитьwhat is the surface feet per minute of belt ?
Ответитьthanks for sharing thats a nice looking and well designed machine the only thing i dont like is i like having a off switch that i can bump with my knee to turn off my stationary tools its easy i use those designer rocker switches they make for homes and paint the off half red ive also designed a wooden stop sign like many tools have t hat mounts on a pin in front of those previous mentioned Switches I am a retired Woodworker who has not had any personal injuries with Stationary Sanders but i did see a guy take off all his skin on fingers with a portable belt sander right down to bone i bandaged him up personally to get him to the hospital i also liked your dust extractor build i was most impressed with the quality of the sound of it running
Ответитьa genius at work. brilliant
