I wonder when they will add other variants of the MCX like the Virtus and Spear LT and in different calibers since it can take 5.56 and the Spear LT can take 7.62x39 also when can we fold the stock in hideout already?

The MCX has been a staple of my wipe this wipe, and it being only my second wipe, I've been enjoying it a lot and been dropping a lot of guys with it.

That interchange kill is perfect proof of the horizontal recoil. The problem with the mcx is that it rips side to side super hard whereas the m4 kind of meanders back and forth. Its slower so its much more controllable

You’re smoking rocks if you think cbj is equivalent to 55a1. Cbj is slower, has a dramatically lower max range, and fails to pen lvl 4 helmets in like half the distance of 55a1. Mcx’s also have a FUCKTON of horizontal recoil.

MCX is not all that good as they let you think
First of all, wasting bullets it's never good. especially when they cost 1k a piece.
So Only automatic rifles (or MCX) if you are either experienced or just play close quarter.

Improve your aiming skills to shoot to the face, if you're like me, you can shoot through altyns without much problems, i do not train my aim and i'm actually dogshit nowadays.
But just rather learn some specific spots to hit rather than letting ur gun do "the thing"

I play m855-bcp fmj-ps (or PP if i plan to hit from over 200m) and i'm generally fine.
BT for ak's.
learn to recognize the armors and the spots that get more damaged and you're fine.
762x is your friend. don't oversleep on SKS, they can be lethal, just be careful of close quarter CLOSED spaces.

Last wipe the PP ammo wasn’t worth using on the aks cuz of recoil vs the armor system. It’s not bad now and have been having a lot of success thanks for that video

You save money if you buy the 196k MCX. Just sell the sight and the pistol grip. You get it for 91k with best in slot parts already installed. Just get a pistol grip and sight of your choosing after. I guess he failed to realize that the pistol grip installed is not sold by traders making it pretty expensive.

how do you have black and white night vision?

You don't get a plus one ergo from both sides on the MCX. I believe only the front sight gives you the ergo bonus.

I'd go with the GL-core over the MOE on these

The MCX has been one of my favorite guns since two wipes ago but I fear that they may nerf the round to a FIR only next wipe since you got the fire rate of an M4 and the damage of 762x39 BP

I need to test it more but it seems like sights with lasers like the holosun and boss may fixed. I’ve been using the rfb with the holosun a lot because all I have is bcp. I know they used to not function but they seem better this wipe

Have you try to talk a little slower? try playing the video for 0.75 you can see how clearly you can talk. Just a personal tip I suggest as I myself a Speaker :)

Could you make an audio guide with optimal settings? I can't quite get them right again after so many audio revamps by BSG and your game sounds so much clearer than mine no matter the headsets I use.

Yo Giga, random question, but did you have any interest in guns before Tarkov? Cuz personaly (as a Dutchman that pretty much never saw live weapon, except in a policemen's holster) it has been kinda weird for me to be so familiar with calibers, bullet velocity, materials ect just because of a game :P It's like I know everything about cars, without ever having ridden one.

The MCX is one of the only guns with the buffer tube in the game that justifiably can use the strike industries red anodized buffer tube for the velocity increase of .300 blackout. It is for this reason why I only use the long barrel on it as well. Cant wait till they add a .50 beowulf AR.

The horizontal recoil is god awful.

Even if the bullets did 1000 damage i still wouldnt use that POS uncontrollable gun

.300 hits harder than 5.56, but the downside is MCX looks ugly af
