Muzan was a complete source of evil the entire time he created most of this demon (except those that didn't succumb to his temptation like Tamayo who may have killed her family, but actually feel remorse and fight Muzan's tyranny), they may have live a long life, but still ended suffering and committed more sins.

The show really likes to give the two sides of a coin from the most "innocent" demons to upper moons like Gyutaro, making YOU know EVERY about them to start build up an entire perception about their characters except the, for the moment, worst and true evil of all: The traumated and bullied Muzan.

Came back to watch before S3 releases, epic stuff man

ngl imo those who turned to demons because they had no other choice to protect their loved ones (gyutaro) or unaware/didnt realised it before they lost their memories should go to heaven, in the end they all are just a pawn for damn muzan and in fear of him

and for tanjiro, its good to see a MC whos not entirely OP, but also has compassions for demon, they commited horrible crime but in the end they were once human who suffers a lot and muzan twisted their mind and turned them to his monsters

Tanjiro is the ideal human. Great sense of justice, compassionate, accommodating, strong willed, positive, encouraging, brings out the best in people, can see past people’s rudeness and doesn’t take things too personally. I wish I could be half the man Tanjiro is.

No matter how much horror resides on the surface, no matter their sins, no matter how black their hearts have become, they were all human. The demon blood may flow through their veins but a human heart still beats. Humans that feared the unknown and in their grief, in their fear of loneliness, they turned to the darkness for comfort and acceptance.
Tanjiro saw these very human fears. He saw the human trapped inside and instead of damning them with hatred in his heart, he freed them from their prison with his mercy and looked up on them with compassion and thus they moved on. Tragic creatures yearning to be human once more. Only for last thing to see was a sign of love and peace.

I like Tanjiro. I agree with him. Never hesitate to kill a demon, but I still feel bad for them in their last moments. Hopefully they find peace.
