Doctor who - Brillant Tegan attacks Stupid Adric (Horray Well Done Tegan )

Tegan was great! I loved watching the show back then and I remember being very sad when she left... And I didn't like Peri replacing her (although I warmed to her in the end) and always wanted Tegan to come back...

Somehow I don't think he'd be interested in doing that....

God, Adric was just intolerable in this episode. He's misogynistic to Tegan and acts like a gullible idiot. I could tolerate him in the Baker episodes, but here I just wanted to punch him in the face.

He really doesn't deserve it - he can be a bit pompous and idealistic, but he's really not as bad as the fandom makes him out to be. He does side with the enemy a lot but 99% of the time it's a bluff.

I never heard so much whining and whinging between characters in a tv series as I heard between the Doctor, Adric and Tegan. But I've always loved Tegan, she was feisty and stood for no nonsense - not to mention that Janet Fielding has the most shapely pair of legs in all of womankind - I'm still in love with her 30 years on.

I know he thought that and he was being noble, but that just makes it all the more sad. I'm not an Adric hater, I liked him despite his adolescent faults(he was kinda intellectually snobby and tended not to take girls seriously)and his obsessive need to prove his calculations were correct(which also played a part in his death). I actually rate Adric as one the greatest companions and really wish we could have seen him grow up and out of his faults.

I adore Tegan Jovanka. She is the companion I relate to the most. I agree wholeheartedly with @ PinkPunkGirl80. Tegan was, deep down, a strong very moral person. A woman who eventually forgave the man who tried to kill her in the first place! Looking at you, Turlough, now that takes GUTS. Brave Heart, Tegan!

Tegan livened up the show. It would have been very passive and dull without her. This was the time women were trying to gain equality and some men were getting upset about it. The other two characters should have been killed off.  I can see humour in her arguments with the doctor with the others just repeating the doctors orders and being "goody two shoes" or squeeky clean.

She just walks off like a BOSS! As if nothing has just happened lol ahahaha

Couldn't stand Tegan either, Adric should have lived
