MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND "VISIONARY MOUNTAINS" (reaction)

These guys were great during this period, mid 70's. 4 or 5 excellent albums in a row, imo. This from 75. Joan Armatrading co-wrote this.
They have a distinctive sound/style, you can always recognise them. I like the accessible sound but they keep their feet deep in rock. Unlike many bands from this era, ELO for instance who sold out to be just a pop band.

I love this band! Yeah, these guys did a fuckload of cover songs. But each cover they did they really made the songs their own. And Mick Rogers is a great singer and a monster on that guitar. Never ever mentioned in these subjective polls.This was his last album with the band for a few years.
