You’re from a country or culture where it’s a common dish and so you don’t need to de reductive about it
Also:

This just looks like what we had for lunch in the cafeteria sometimes and iirc they called it beef stroganoff lol that shit slapped but imagine my surprise when I learned that that is in fact not actually what beef stroganoff was 😅

ОтветитьLiterally made myself a pot of goulash on wednesday and have been eating a bowl a day since.
ОтветитьLet me guess, the reason you haven't eaten this in a long time is because.... you cry when angels deserve to die?
Why'd you leave the keys up on the table?!?
You forgot the piece of white bread with butter on it
ОтветитьIt was ghoulish where I grew up. I loved it so much, I would eat it 2-3 times a week, given the opportunity!

ОтветитьIn Slovenia we call this type of dish makaron flajš. Goulash or golaž is something else here. Slovenian golaž is thicker than Hungarian Goulash and is commonly eaten with a side of bread dumplings (kruhovi cmoki), polenta or just bread. It's one of my favorite dishes to eat and make.
ОтветитьThe goulash i had as a kid was made with beans and served over french fries lol

ОтветитьThat’s where I’m from❤
ОтветитьHonestly looks delicious
ОтветитьAs a Boston guy, I must ask why you didn’t go for any of our actual favorites - chowder, lobster rolls, fluffernutter, or a North Shore beef? Chop suey is insane
