Great demo Jack. The clean tone was excellent and those crunchy drive tones have something vintagey about them. I like it.
ОтветитьI've been off the new gear kick for a while... but this video makes me want to get back on it. I think the clean tone is the one I like best of all.
ОтветитьNice haircut, though
ОтветитьThat the new Fender 60s Tele custom (MIJ)? I have the Firemist Gold. Nice vid as always!
ОтветитьSome great tones and guitar skill. I have the Delta King 12 and 10 and enjoy both.
ОтветитьAwesome tones.
The Supro Delta King is definitely not a one trick pony when dialed in correctly and even the drive channel sounds great when used
In certain situations.
Inspiring video. Love mine.😃👍
Sounds great. I’m a big fan of your clean playing. The crunch definitely doesn’t disappoint either.
ОтветитьHey jack, great tones as always!
I really think that the guys at supro made an excellent job with this one... It an amazing grab and go blues amp. I have a 65 Princeton, but I feel like this one would be more appropriate for a live jam
Repeat 10X "I don't have room for another amp"...or do I??
ОтветитьI like Jack because he is not all hung up on vintage gear. He has wonderful USA built contemporary guitars and gets great tones from amps available today....way to go Jack
ОтветитьNicely done Jack! This may be the only (if not one of very few) that show the Supro Delta 12 can do much more than many think. Bravo!! Have the 12 and you're so right, bit loud for home use. Picked up the Delta 8 a while back when they were clearing them out. It's perfect for home and gotta say much better than expected, 1W and can kick. LOL
Take care & keep posting, thanks
Just like Jimmy Page..He has a Supro
ОтветитьPicked one of these up on Black Friday of 2021 from GC and I've played it next to a Blues Junior and it sounds so much better! Way less boxy somehow. It does take some tweaking as all of the controls are very interactive and dynamic. Worth taking a picture when you find the right tone because the one downfall is the total lack of indicators on any of the knobs! If I were to play this with a band, I would put some white tape or paint some indicator lines on each knob. You would never be able to see where they are in a dark club! Thanks for zooming in on the settings so I can "try" to recreate some of your tones Jack! Love your vids!
ОтветитьLooks like my space tone tremolo...
ОтветитьEh, sounds like a fuzzy Fender wanna be. Peavey Delta blues has way better cleans and drive
ОтветитьSupros are very nice. great video. your one of my favorite gear reviewers
ОтветитьLove this amp as well, thinking of running it in stereo with the new princeton. I've really fallen in love with sub 20 watt amps over the past year.
ОтветитьCould you please please please do a video of the Supro with a handful of dirt pedals running into it clean?
ОтветитьLove those licks. Great demo. I just bought a Fender 57 Deluxe hand-wired and the Supro Delta King 12. I love them both. The Fender is for long-term. I think they will only get more expensive and I have started buying the Fender Hand-wired (also have the 64 Princeton hand-wired) because I can have the easily serviced and have a "new" classic. However, the Delta King is a smoking good amp for the money. The fact that has such great tones, and you can use a fender two button footswitch to turn on the drive and boost or both is fantastic. One other great option is that you can use a different preamp or device like an SRD Tom Sholtz Rockman and run it into the power amp on the back so one is getting the tube power section of the Supro, but feeding it with the Rockman. Awesome.
ОтветитьSent my Delta King down the road, in partial trade for a Vintera 72 Tele Thinline. Hunting for a Peavey Classic 20 Head/Cab at the moment... 😉
ОтветитьMan, great tones Jack! I’ve been thinking hard about this amp. Out of curiosity, have you had a chance to try the new h600 Harmony amps? I’m debating between the 2 for blues, classic rock, and a little stoner with a fuzz pedal in front. Any insights between the 2? 😁
ОтветитьHey i cant seem to choose between this and the super 64, im mostly a pedal player. Which one would be the best for that
ОтветитьThe les paul is really awesome just like your playing!! Greetings!!
ОтветитьGreat review. Since you have reviewed both the Blues King and the Delta King. Is one better than the other as in tonal quality or in versatility? Or are they pretty much the same? I am leaning toward one or the other. Generally, I can save around 100 bucks buying the Blues King. Thanks for your reviews.
ОтветитьGreat tones and nice playing as usual. It’s probably my eyes, but I could not see all of the settings. If anyone can reply with the strings that would be awesome. I have the amp and am still trying to dial it in. Of course, I’m sure Jack’s playing has something to do with it!
Ответитьexclusively for home practice: which tube amplifier would you choose?. I have a Supro delta King 10 in my sights and it's tempting me badly, but Fender is Fender and their tube amps are also attracting my attention....
Ответитьthx jack expecially showing the knob
positions
wish ppl could play a Gretsch thru one of these. Bet it would sound glorious.
ОтветитьNice video and fantastic sounds! Can it handle small gigs??? I mean, does it break up easily?
ОтветитьThanks for this!! Any of this recorded using the di?
ОтветитьI JUST picked one of these up... and honestly.. this is probably the single most helpful video with regards to really fine tuning particular tones!! Excellent! New Sub!!
ОтветитьThis will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.....
ОтветитьThis amp sounds remarkably better with humbuckers. Sounds very thin with single coils. Thanks Jack. Another great video.
