It feels like we witness Franklin realizing all over again that he's safe & loved as he experiences indoor cat life again. Poor boy, I'm glad he found his way to Flatbush Cats.

ОтветитьPoor baby.. 😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьI have a cat I have had around since 2010 (I think she came to me in 2008.) and shecwas abused, and starved of food I think.
I can't really feed her canned food much, she eats it all so fadt, then throws it all back up.
She loves dry food though, and as long as the bowl is filled constantly she doesn't get nervous.
I just can't go near her with a broom or mop, she must of been hit with them.
That food anxiety never fully goes away, but she is much better.
safe kitty c:
Ответитьlol.. Franklin Flatbush!!!
ОтветитьThank you ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI hope this little guy wasn’t abandoned
ОтветитьI felt good insecurities before..
ОтветитьThe look of pure bliss on his face when his new mum was loving on him brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my lips.
Ответить<333
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьAs much as it breaks my heart to see these cats abandoned, it amazes me how well they heal and become loving and playful once they're given a good home and loving family. Thank you for all you do!
ОтветитьLove the work you do! Just checking, since the cat had a collar - did you scan the microchip to see if he had an owner? He could have gone out and lost his way back home.
ОтветитьHe's got a lots to tell. ❤😊
ОтветитьKiitos!
ОтветитьThat just broke my heart wen Franklin just about liked the chrome of that bowl then slayed down next to it as to say that u was not going to miss a meal... I'm glad u found it forever home my friend ❤❤❤

ОтветитьMy cat loves us, her family, very much. But she only let us pet her by scratching her back for a little while, and she licks my face at five in the morning or any other ungodly hour if she wants food. She's just not a very cuddly cat, and she doesn't enjoy human touch. But she can be affectionate in her own way. And she's very family oriented. She has never bitten or scratched anyone. I love her, but I can't help getting a little bit jealous of Franklin's owners. Must be nice to have such a cuddly cat.
ОтветитьHe looks like our Baxter right down to the fat tail. He was a rescue at 12 weeks old and he still has food insecurity. His brother Brodie has it in a different way where he’ll eat a little then half hide. Of course Baxter moves to his plate as soon as he goes. We've now got a slim cat and a fat cat. We've tried everything, picking up Brodie's food when he walks away, giving them both small meals, and many more tricks. Part of the problem is we are both disabled and because of our flat's layout we can’t feed them separately. We’ve both had multiple cats before, in fact we both brought one into the relationship, mine was 18 then and lived to 20 and my wife's was 14 and lived to be 22. We've had a good few cats between us and 5 have lived to be 20 plus. This problem is flummoxing us both and I’d be grateful for any ideas please.
ОтветитьLike all cats, Franklin deserves a warm lap, lots of food, lovies and plenty of pats ❤ No animal or human deserves to be discarded like a piece of trash. Very greatful this gorgeous boy found a loving, forever home. Thank you Flastbush cats 🎉
ОтветитьThere is nothing that upsets me more than seeing an adult cat used to living indoors tossed outside, thinking they will be ok. It’s just not true. I couldn’t imagine any of my indoor cats having to live outside suddenly. I know things happen in people’s lives, but please before you adopt an animal, have a plan in place in case something happens to you.
And if you are adopting, there are plenty of adult cats and dogs at shelters everywhere that desperately need homes! Please consider adopting an adult pair that lost their home! Bonded adult pairs really have a difficult time finding a forever home!
Cats are so sweet and innocent I would rather die than abandon my baby gurl D'=
ОтветитьI hope he got over the food insecurity! It’s sad to see him sit by the bowl after eating!
ОтветитьI donated to yalls clinic fund yesterday. I wish I lived closer so I could help hands on! I like yalls mission and the way y’all run the rescue!
Ответитьhe found YOU
ОтветитьGreat job people! Keep up the amazing work! ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWonderful little guy❤
ОтветитьYou saved a life. God knows! That's one happy kitty right there! Great job friend 👏 👍
ОтветитьI have 3 ordinary black and white Korean shorthairs (now 10 years old). My first two were a bonded pair who's human was leaving the country. My 3rd was an abandoned cat who lived in front of a convenience store. I'd feed him, as would others. Still, he got skinny and dirty and finally sick. He chased after me in 2017 when I was on my bike, and I went back the next day with a carrier. He had to be quarantined for 2 months while he recovered from calicivirus, stomatitis, ear mites, eye issues. . . and his siblings got booster shots. He's had dental extractions and bladder stone removal in the last 6 years, but he is my sweetheart. Watching him learn to play again, curl up on my bed and purr me to sleep. . . what a dear! When I first took him home I brought him to the only vet in my small town I had passed-- at that time I didn't;t realize his clipped ear was a sign of TNR, though I suspected by his docile nature he had been neutered. The first vet (we only went there once-- and we still call him evil vet) put him under and did some laser treatment on his mouth and "re-neutered" him because I made a panicked decision as he was already under meds. Evil vet sent my Valjean home with me still under anesthesia, after a $400 bill. He even said something to me like"I could buy a much better cat for much cheaper". When he was still asleep, I did wash him (not the best, because I was afraid of drowning him!) and got out most of the dirt and matts. The rest I got later with dry shampoo and a brush, and of course he eventually went back to grooming himself. Franklin is a lot like my Valjean (though his 1/2 mask looks more like Valjean's sister, Suzy). I love watching these heart warming stories.
ОтветитьHE ISNT FRANKLIN THATS MY CAT NAMED DORITO THANK YOU AND PLEASE GIVE HIM BACK TO ME HE HAS A A COLLAR AND YOU SHOUKD HAVE READ IT READ IT HE REALLY BELONGS TO ME Please I beg you I HAVE MENTAL BREAKDOWN WITHOUT MY LOVE DORITO PLEASE GIVE HIM BACK DEAR FLATBUSH CATS
ОтветитьI love what you do very much. I wish I'm a member in your team. I do my best for my 22 cats, all rescued, and the neighbouring ones. Here in Egypt, street animals suffer immensely. Wish there's people like you here.
ОтветитьHomeless cats get more care and better treatment than homeless people.
ОтветитьMy cat Monkey looks like Franklin..This one hit me hard seeing him so dirty & sad. When I adopted Monkey he was abandoned on the street and had face scratches- someone was supposed to adopt him but they never showed and WOW am I grateful that I was able to take him home. These poor babies look so sad and still want human love. Monkey is my WORLD, my soulmate I can't imagine my life without him, we are a bonded pair.. thank you for everything you are doing out there!
ОтветитьLucky guy. I wish I had found him/her
ОтветитьThis is such a beautiful story . You are brilliant with cats.
watching it brings one to such a high at the end , I just want to see more of how he got on and how happy he is now .
WANT MORE !!! Thanks.
Please thank you so much please give the cat back to me D; thanks so much finding him and his name is Cheester PLEASE GIVE HIM BACK HE IS MICROCHIPPED,he went outside we left him because the dog was chasing him please I beg you , the dog once broke in my house chased him then he ran away from my home 😭
ОтветитьMy lost-cat-turned-perfect-son cat is still deeply food insecure after years. Him and his brother get fed separately because of it [his brother is a huge pushover and just lets the mean man barge in and start scarfing his food down]. It always makes me sad if I think for too long about how he was someone's beloved pet until he either got away or was abandoned. He was pretty dirty and skinny when we found him and took him to the shelter to see if anyone would claim him. No one did so now he chews on my blinds and waits at the window for me to come home every day ❤
Thank you for all that you do, Flatbush Cats
Such a heartwarming story and I'm so so happy that Franklin found his forever home! ❤️🐾🐾
ОтветитьThis is so very touching!
Ответить♥️😻
ОтветитьWe had a walk-in ginger 'kitten' who was very food obsessed. Vet reckoned he was nearly a year old, but undernourished. He ate and ate, and grew and grew - rapidly. He had once been loved by someone, as he was shy but very friendly. Maybe they turfed him out because they didn't get him neutered and he sprayed indoors (still happens occasionally, even though he's 'done' now). I can't imagine what his life was like before he moved in with us. He's now a big confident lad, it's been lovely to watch him mature into the cat he was meant to be.
ОтветитьThank goodness he found you. He knew who would take care of him.
ОтветитьI live in an apartment complex and I’ve been here for 10 years. There was a stray cat I named Mama that was here the day I moved in. I fed her, took her to the vet and gave her medicine all throughout the years she even came in all the time but loved being outside. She was friendly with everyone too. There were never any problems with any neighbors until one moved in and didn’t like her on or under the stairs. She would always try to have her removed by the landlord but he wouldn’t do it then one day a few months ago she went missing and I was asking everyone if they had seen her. Well the one neighbor, in a roundabout way without admitting it told me she was removed and dropped off somewhere. I really wish I knew where that was but she would never admit or tell me.
ОтветитьWonderful people= happy kitties.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьI love seeing the end when they get loved on in their forever home !
ОтветитьBless his little heart so happy he found a home again!
