ОтветитьWhy did I see this as ad lol
ОтветитьGreat content!
ОтветитьHey man , really from the bottom of my heart hilarious ,funny . R u innovating new variety of fried rice ?
ОтветитьHey Dan you finely did it!!!! It was nice seeing you do something a little different. Please try telling some stores from when you where in prison. Or show us more thing you cooked.
ОтветитьHi (RDAP) Dan! I too have unfortunately done time in prison, although it was Michigan State Prison. (Short version: after losing my little brother to a drunk driver, then my dad dying a year later and a few other traumatic scenarios, i began using vicodins to numb the pain and grief, which along with a bad news boyfriend or two- my addiction intensified and led me to get in lots of trouble... did 24 months and a few years later another 23 months... but that's ALL behind me now, thank god!) Being that I had taken four years of culinary arts in high school- and just an all around lover of food, I became quite the lil commissary queen chef and master of the mic in prison... so i too have a ton of tried and true prison recipes as well. One of my favorite and quick, easy and economical recipes was fried rice. Never used pepsi though, and for some reason we did not have soy sauce on our commissary list (ha, but unlike fed prisons, at least we could buy our very own personal over-priced flat screen tv- which surely made my time fly! So... na-na-na-na-naaaa, lol) but you'd never miss the soy sauce by the time you tasted it! Yeah, you definitely gotta be creative and resourceful!
I just found your channel today and I'm already a fan and new subbie! Thanks Dan!
P.S. Can you do some more recipes? Did you do the famous microwave prison peanut butter fudge? MMMM, one of my faves! And all you need is a jar of PB, some sugar, creamer is optional, and water. It's crazy because when I make it at home it's sooo expensive (2 bags reese's PB chips, sugar, butter, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk (or is it evaporated milk...?! I forget) But both recipes taste exactly the same. And the stove-top method is really easy to screw up- and then you gotta just throw it away)
This was actually really cool. I'm gonna have to give this a shot out in the world.
ОтветитьGreat job!!!
Ответитьoh goodness! RDAP Dan is cooking it uuuuup! :)

ОтветитьThis is awesome! I have someone close at fci Sheridan camp so I’m always watching your videos! Ps. I’m Vegan and like still watching you cook!
ОтветитьI know you said stir the rice/noodles every 45seconds, but how long total did they stay in the microwave? Is it 3-4minutes just like the Summer sausage? Awesome video by the way. I tried it, Tastes great but I dont think I did it correctly like you when it came to frying up the noodles. Lol.
Ответитьwhooooop whoooooooooop!!! there's so many ways to make this but like he said, Pepsi is a main ingredient!!! lol federal prison is what u make it fellah's... i did 10 😁
ОтветитьWatching this to see what my ex is talking about, says she’s been making fried rice in the microwave in state prison and that it’s so good. I’m not sure it would be that good out here but when you don’t have many choices you have to make it work
ОтветитьNever been (and hope never to go) to prison, but I love fried rice and this actually sounds pretty good.
ОтветитьMW Polar Sauce Sweet & Hot Sauce, 15.5-Ounce they sell it on Amazon,

ОтветитьIf I was on the lawn during the iNSurEctioN will I get rice?
ОтветитьYou don't slam the noodle on the floor? 🤣
ОтветитьWe didn't fry rice with bowls
ОтветитьNever MIX the Noodles With The Rice. It Burns Different 💯😂
ОтветитьThis is soooo bomb
ОтветитьI was in RDAP too. Coleman USP2……. Where were u? Don’t tell me you were in J-2 Dorm😂😂😂
ОтветитьBasically same for women's prison lol. I did 11 years Fed time. Ate sooo much fried rice. And pizza bowls. Anywho. After 11 yrs I'm an old pro. Just know they can't eat ya!! They gotta let you out sometime.
ОтветитьDid 18 months in Omaha (honestly a pretty "good" prison and I know, not anywhere close to some y'all), but I honestly never cooked. Just bought store and had the homies make it. The one thing I loved more than anything was fried rice. We didn't have olive oil or spices or soy sauce unfortunately, but we'd throw in healthy amounts of summer sausage, pepperoni, and pulled pork with some jalapeños. We used Sunkist instead of Pepsi too. My mom thinks it sounds horrible but it's soooo good lol. Think I'm gonna cook her a batch like we made and then the next one I'll throw in some spices because that does sound like it would make it even better. I know the video is old, but thank you. I couldn't for the life of me remember how my buddies made fried rice.
ОтветитьSike... I don't know what dude was doin...i aint never use Pepsi trail mix even down to his process...je just mixed everything u was supposed to steam the rice champ....
