The socket is for suspension
Strut
The button on the knipex is why I bought mine.
ОтветитьThey're sj pliers or slip joint.
ОтветитьWish these were available before I bought the knipex
ОтветитьThere’s 2 version of the Kenpex… cobra..
I have never heard a more un true statement in my entire life. You got the needle nose you got the auto adjust you got the XXL’s SSL’s. And many different sizes from just those examples alone.
By the end of this sentence, they already made three more variance.
I bought a 21pce Stanley drive thru drive socket set 10yrs ago.
With a just like this socket.
Everyone tries to copy the Knipex Cobras. They always end up chunky and overly big for the same length tool. The Cobras are trim, light and fit in tight spaces easily. It’s pretty hard to beat perfection.
ОтветитьAnd they cost twice what the Knipex do. I like my Knipex thanks.
ОтветитьKnipex pliers are so hard to beat even Snap-on sells them. Should tell you everything you need to know right there
ОтветитьIt's a spark plug socket for f bodies and other v8s with headers. I have a trick flow one I bought 15 years ago. Also have the snapon, actually have the other version of these in 9/16,5/8 and 14mm. They are a lot better then having to drop motor mounts and Jack the engine up to change plugs😂
ОтветитьAs someone who loves knipex, I got a pair of the snap on and I genuinely like them more than the knipex, don’t get me wrong I do love the slimmer head on the knipex but the snap on’s are just more convenient for my type of work, also the snap on pliers don’t slide up and down on their own unless they are fully open which is nice so they don’t slip when closed.
ОтветитьSo it’s ok for snapon to rip ppl off now? Aren’t you always complaining other brands do this and that’s why snapon is best? Hmm 🤨
ОтветитьMac tools collabs with knippex?
ОтветитьChannellock came out with the speed grip years ago but it was a flop. They still make them. That was their answer to the knipex. Kinda similar to the snapon version but thet are push button
ОтветитьSnap-on always says there's a difference. The price
ОтветитьKnipex are cheaper and a lot better
ОтветитьKnipex also has a comfort grip available on many of their tools that offsets the Snapon’s grip advantage.
ОтветитьSnap-on pliers are always the BEST and these new pliers look like winners also
ОтветитьWhat’s the price comparison?
ОтветитьI love Knipex too, I will definitely try Snap on new water pump pliers
ОтветитьSnap On “other companies steal our designs and then make them overseas!”
Proceeds to borrow design and make it overseas.
Gear wrench pass through socket
ОтветитьPliers you won’t be happy with
ОтветитьThey all do the same job
ОтветитьLook at snap off copying Knipex cutee
ОтветитьSparkplug socket
ОтветитьLow profile spark plug socket
ОтветитьCobras are often imitated but never duplicated. You just can’t beat them. It’s the only pair of pliers that feels American made from before the 90s in the best ways possible. It’s actually the one European tool brand that’s worth a damn
ОтветитьYou also can get the knipex with big grips
ОтветитьAlso just looked up the price. A 10 inch cobra is like what 50-60 bucks? And it’s the undisputed king already. Kleins are like 40 and decent. How is this worth 100 dollars? I can’t wait to see this go head to head with the cobras on project farm. I bet they’re not a whole nother pair of pliers better than the knipex :(

Ответитьit’s a short spark plug socket i love those use them all the time with the race cars because the headers block a regular socket
ОтветитьWhy do the knipex say Mac tools?
ОтветитьThe narrow Knipex help me A LOT worling on small close nipples 3/8-3/4”
ОтветитьEasily Knipex… Copying is the greatest form of flattery.
ОтветитьWhy do people insist on pronouncing the silent “K”…such a pet peeve…at least pronouncing it right when your fan boy club is trying to copy the staple design…
ОтветитьKnipex is $40, how much are the snapons
ОтветитьIt's a snap on tool salesman pretending to be a regular guy..... It used to be snap on tools made in America.... Tell me snap on tools guy.. why would I pay Cadillac price for imported tools when I can go to harbor freight and pay a quarter the price for really good quality imported tools... Not an insult I would really like to know
ОтветитьThe adjustment without the lock is a PITA to deal with. Knipex with locks are the way. I know because i bought Knipex 100mm cobra amd plier wrench for pocket carry and the 125 mm Knipex are so much better
ОтветитьkOOOshy
ОтветитьKnipex also offers an automatic version of the cobras. I have them and while they don’t open as wide as regular cobras they’re still great. I prefer the cobras because they’re slim, I don’t want to be using a clunkier tool. If you complain about the grip, Knipex also offers a comfort grip version but like I said I prefer the lighter standard handle.
ОтветитьTHE K IS SILENT…… 🤫 🤦♂️
ОтветитьKnipex makes thick handle versions of almost all of their pliers
ОтветитьAlmost the same as my visegrip
ОтветитьFor everyone who use pump pliers (here we call them more like pipe pliers) in not optimal spaces, with many different sizes of fittings - the button is king, while self udjusting stuff is usually more annoying than it give advantages.
ОтветитьHeader spark plug socket
Ответить2 guys in our shop have those snap on and they gave up on them they say it slips on bigger nuts so they grab mine or another guys knipex
ОтветитьThe socket is for removing spark plugs on vehicles with headers. At least that’s what I use mine for.
ОтветитьIts a pass thru socket. It allows you to get to nuts that are on long screws without using a deep socket.
ОтветитьSlip joint pliers were originally called water pump pliers because there was a time when they were rebuilt.
Ответить
