I too was brainwashed against him, but more and more over the years I've seen that he has become a prophet. The American Catholic Church is notorious for glorying in its abilities to be a major corporate CEO headquarters rather than a church. So they will condemn anybody that does not follow the corporate policies to the letter. They have no sense of prophecy and mysticism God himself and the rest of the trinity are answerable to the USCCB. That's how they view it. That's because as Bishops they've lost their sense of prophecy teaching and above all courage to act as apostles. The other drawback of Americans is we always love happy endings to our stories but that's not how things exist in the real world are Saints sometimes never had happy endings but it did not diminish their sanctity. We have to put aside our preconditioned Hollywood notions of our life I'd start to immerse ourself in the life that is from the gospel which sometimes is not have happy endings but the happy endings are in the next life. Hollywood and the Socialists of this country don't believe in the afterlife unless they themselves can create it in their image. Basically how pathetic are they. I am a great reader of history and we don't always know how things will pan out down the line but for sure this movement of the sspx from its inception has been the Holy Spirit finding a way to protect the tradition of the church from the machinations of the possessed hierarchy and modernists and liberal Jesuits who want to undermine it and destroy it as we see happening currently. Profits were never welcomed in their Homeland but nonetheless they had to stand firm and do what needed to be done. Again Americans are so trained to not listen to the hard news but always want their own selfish happy needs to be met and they want the met immediately. The glory of our church is it will never end. But while we struggle with today's concerns we are building slowly the foundation of a restored Church devoid of socialism liberalism Jesuits and the likes of the Bergoglio influence.

I was young but I remember when Archbishop Lefebvre first came to the US and it was huge. I remember seeing it on TV and my jaw dropped. What he offered was what I was looking for. I was never the same since.

I was still in elementary school right after VII Our longtime and beloved pastor died. There was a huge funeral mass for him. I didn't quite understand it at the time but I remember an adult in the crowd say that he probably died because of VII.

I've read both biographies of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and St Pio and their is such a striking similarity with both these men and I hope someday that similarity results in the canonization of the archbishop.

But sadly given the rifts now in the SSPX there is division and there is a great need for all the evil in the Church to be lanced and all come together under the whole Church coming together under the tradition🙏

Every time I have you on, I am disconety, why I do not know. For me to go to Latin mass is so hard, the closes is more then two miles. I am 84 years old, gets harder to go to mass.

Having been born in 1946 I was privileged to have eight years of Catholic school and the love and discipline of the sister and four years of Catholic high school with the brothers. I had basically always thought I would become a priest and so I then went to the seminary.. Well, that was in the beginning of the sixties and things started getting wacky in the seminary and so I left. We had very little idea of what was happening and slowly found out through reading. My family went to the Ukrainian Catholic Church until we found the SSPX. If it wasn't for SSPX we would not have the traditional Latin Mass. Now we have a large prominent church we purchased and we have a growing parish with the possibility of becoming a priory with a school. That is all because of Almighty God and His servant Abp Lefebvre and, as Gamaliel stated, "If it is of God, there is nothing you can do against it."

Bishop Richard Williamson is on the RIGHT side of history too. The society treated him unfairly. He was the only one with the balls to bring up the biggest lie of the 20th century.

I HAD MET ARCHBISHOP yesterday. Ago. Had a picture which I have in my living room next to my 2 children with his hands in the palm of my children's faces. SO LOVELY AND A MOST BEAUTIFUL FACE ON THIS ONE DAY TO BECOME A SAINT

We had in Brazil Dom Mayer a great Bishop who worked with Dom Lefevre.

If lefevbre(spelling?), said words of concsecration were changed, i think he’s wrong. Latin mass was back-burnered, not banned. That’s my understanding. If this priest said holy orders after Vatican 2, gives invalid priests/deacons/bishops, i think he’s wrong. What say you? Btw, who cares if Protestant ordinations occurred in a Catholic Church, because those ordinations mean nothing

Archbishop Lefevbre was a martyr and one day he will be acknowledged as a great Saint.

The mass in Scotland is legit so irreverent that I'm fairly certain the priest doesn't actual care about the destination of the souls within my local Parish, I'm Godwilling going to be attending the SSPX masses and will become a Catholic through them, I'd have no idea how to find a Godmother or Godfather within the Novos Ordo mass in this area I can almost gaurentee these people are taking eating the flesh in mortal sin , I don't think there is any promotion of examination of the conscience of the faithful within it either, I mean I'm genuinely scared by it.

I guess this video aged badly... How does this fit in with Benedict XVI reinstituting the Latin Mass as primary way of getting people away from Lefebvre.

Like Michael Matt ,our family in Alberta, lived through those times and even met the Archbishop.He was a very humble patient and loving bishop to talk with.He is definitely a saintly bishop with amazing vision and love of thr Catholic Faith.

Archbishop should have been a Pope. He was a true catholic. We still follow him

The novus ordo mass is not Catholic

The sspx is leading its people back into to the arms of the evil Vatican and Pope Francis Bishop Richard Williamsons organization is titled resistance. They oppose the sspx organization. Arch Bishop Lefebvre saved the Latin mass from extinction and today they have many traditional resistance priests and faithfully all around the world. God has said the Catholic Church will not be destroyed by Satan. It will be here forever.

I've just come across this video. Convert 30++ years ago, TLM for the last 4. Which biographies of Archbishop Lefebvre do you recommend? Am moving closer to a SSPX chapel soon, and my priest where I am now is not a supporter of either the order or the man. Would like to give him one of the books you recommend as a thank you for his priesthood, and as a hope he will read it.

A bit late on this video. I think Bishop Lefevbre has more right to be called a saint more than even JP2.
