Nice vid. You should check out COB leds, they are beautiful as a strip of light, you can't see each individual pixel.
ОтветитьHello Modern Hobbyist, can you do a video on how to FIX (I'm sure that word will get your attention) a key on a piano keyboard that doesn't make any sound? (I have a Roland KR-177 Digital Piano, but any video would help.) Thank your and I love you videos.
ОтветитьAre those used in LED face mask ? Or do they differ?
ОтветитьThanks for the cool vid. Would anyone care to comment on a 220V IP67 strip in an aluminium channel?
ОтветитьHello! I will be inlaying LEDS inside carvings within a plywood panel and will be pouring epoxy resin over the carvings, I think I will be an IP 65!
ОтветитьHow do you lay a single strip of LED lights around corners when you want them face up without damaging the strip such as on a cornhole board
ОтветитьI want to build a back to the future set of cornhole boards and would like to make a score activated, flex capacitor out of LED lights any comments
ОтветитьThis is by far the most comprehensive video I've seen on LED strips. You covered most topics really well. The only thing missing would've been including names of driver IC chips for the strips. But that may have been beyond the scope of the video since there are so many. Nevertheless, well done!
ОтветитьGreat vid. Lots of information! I'm wanting to light up the steps on my staircase. But I don't want a continuous line of lights that run to and from each step. Does that make sense?
So how would I black out the strip?
Or can I add spacers?
I am a newbie to tape lighting and don't know any lingo, but your video helped me substantially! Thank you
I still don't know what I need to buy lol.
My husband remodeled an old "dairy cow/hay barn" so we have 3 levels. One side of the staircase is held up by a couple TREES. The staircase is dark and I don't have easy access to power, on that side.
I'd like to "highlight" His work, not take away the "wow" with a crappie lighting job🎉.kwim
Tnx again for the video! I am now a subscriber! Lol
Yes that is TREMENDOUS help! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU
ОтветитьDo you have a solution for a flexible LED strip? I have a project I'm working on and need the strip to have 2 curves/bends to it.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThis is a great video and I learned so much! I am still having a hard time deciding how to light some shelving. I have 5 free standing shelves (with 5 shelves each) that I will put directly next to each other and will display bourbon bottles. I want the light to be on the back facing up behind the bottles. I also plan to use diffuser channels. I am not as concerned about the spacing of the LEDs and want both white and color but I don't necessarily need the RGBW. My issue is that with the 5 shelves all next to each other I will need 5 strips, each about 140" (11.6 ft) long. I would like if all were connected or somehow controlled together so that the lights were all on the same commands. I can hide connecting wires behind the shelves if needed. After watching your video I am concerned about trying to connect almost 60 feet of lights and not have light degradation or overheating problems. I am "fairly" techy, but not an electrician by any means. Any advice? Or tell me exactly what components I would need? I know its a lot!
ОтветитьHi, I've added a waterproof led strip under my dash in my car and connected it to my interior lights on my dash. So when i put my external lights on, my interior lights up. However, the led gets a bit warm. Not overly hot, but very warm. Do i need something like a resistor to cool it down? Or will it be OK?
ОтветитьThanks; great video!
