Such a good band, one of my favorites, from a time when guitars in pop weren’t so prominent. If it’s between these guys and blip-bloop synth-pop (which I enjoy as well), I’m always gonna lean toward guitar-based stuff. These guys had a sound. His voice, the guitar hooks, the drums, etc. You could recognize an Outfield song pretty quickly.

This is hands down one of the greatest 80's songs that does not get airplay. Yeah, Your Love is great, but so is this one.

They were sort of like a modern day Beach Boys. All great songs and fun to watch.

I vividly remember being 16 and driving my friend's mothers Volvo 100 mph back from Spring Break with this blaring on the stereo. My friends mom was asleep on the backseat and hot I might add.... so fun to be young and dumb with a great soundtrack.
