I see a few Karate shots, but the rest is kinda mma thing, including hitting in the back of the head.

There,s fighting with no discipline,just like pub fighters

All the fighters who come from semi contact karate are amazing in full contact.

It's nice that karate is stepping up it's game, but the defense department still need a lot of improvement. Hands down, zero head movement, a formula to pure chaos, love it.

And besides the head kicks, 90% of these knockouts were a result of boxing techniques.

This is better than mma imo . No boring ass ground game . Pure combat .

Any experts from this sport able to comment regarding the legality of the "follow up" punches/kicks to the downed opponent please? As a layman spectator, it seems rather unnecessary in securing victory and ultimately quite likely to harm fighter's longevity in the sport.

The only bad thing is the commentators ... everytime is "oooowwwwww nice kick", wtf, do they know anything about karate? give the proper names for the strickes and techniques, it's stupidly bizarre

What are the rules for head kicks? The reason I'm asking is two of these knockouts were from kicks to the back of the head. If you can't punch to the back of the head, why can you kick there?

I've never seen this style of Karate. Doesn't resemble Shotokan, Goju Ryu, Uechi Ryu, Kyokushin... What is it?

I can say nothing beats the comments section. It’s easy to pick out who actually trains and the sad pathetic keyboard warriors.

Things Karate Kombat got right.
1. Small UFC style gloves.
2. Focusing on striking and highlighting extream KO's
3. The beveled pit style floor that the combatants fight in.
4. The action isn't in a cage it's happening right in front of you
5.The most dedicated fans can spend $$ to be feet away from the action.
6. Fighters that understand the assignment. (This one is huge, Kill or be Killed)
7. Employing refs that can get in there and cut the action to preserve the length of the fighters career. KO's shorten that significantly.


Let's hope my guy Dana doesn't buy this one up. Would hate to see the best fighters in this organization go over to UFC and get choked out in round one.

I like how smart it is but I like the knock-outs. a perfect place but the wrong time to do the counters and it is so insane I'm like upset but into it it's so weird and exciting.

Why are they hiting the opponent when he is already down? It”s cruel and unneccesary. If it”s ,,no rules” like in a street fight, what is the role of the referee??? Do they have MMA rules or what?
