only way to fix your game is to just scrap the mechanic of changing your civilization each era . and relaunch a 2.0 version with a classic version.

No desire to buy a game that was designed to drip feed content over 3-5 years.

they leave out content such as map types and then rave about how players always loved pangea maps....hmmm, is that why you decided to launch the game with abominations of map types? shelf this debacle and move on to civ 8....thanks

out of curiosity, will we see these updates towards the Meta Quest/VR version? i have wanted to buy it but if it doesn’t see the same kinda love n’ support as the console/pc version gets, it’d feel like an absolute waste of $80 mapledollars 😮‍💨

If you just be historically accurate and understand that Persian/Iranian Civilization is still alive and not just an ancient Civilization and add all 3 ages... I'll buy this one as well as I have bought alll other releases

That's good and all, but what I'm truly excited for is the Developer Update on CIv 8!

You should make a "classic" game mode where you can play the same civ from start to finish - then people can chose if they wanna play the standard mode or with a more classical game feel.

You must make a new game. That's it. That's the fix. Make a Civilization game, not whatever this is

I want to play as a single civ through all the ages!!

How about a button to disable Civ Swapping. A button to enable all Leaders as starting Leaders. A button to enable all Civs from Antiquity. A button to disable the stupid story elements. A button to disable your DLC greed. Or just enable Mod Support so we can play the game we bought the way we want. So we can "Build something 'We' Believe in, and not a series of mini games that is so jarring that we just play Civ 6 or 5 instead. Thanks.

not buying until I get to keep my civ from start to finish, I know that might have been a game pillar for you guys, but not the type of mechanic I wanted from a civ game, sorry firaxis :/
