DJI FLY 1.15.4 HUGE UPGRADE / New DJI Neo FIRMWARE v01.00.0400

Where you live is beautiful yet cold. The forward tracking and dodging obstacles is amazing. I don’t have a neo but I’ve been consuming content on it. Thinking about grabbing one. These shots look so nice.

Again: A ND filter has NO effect on dynamic range! An ND Filter reduces the amount of light overall!

You could post some shorts in the new 16x9 format with Neo so we can see how great it turns out.

My iPhone 11 Promax does not seem to have the button to switch the phone controllers to landscape mode. Is my phone to old ???

what about the adjustment of Sharpness? is it still dependent on the controller alone?

Unfortunately, I had to return the Neo due to safety concerns. During spotlight mode with my toddler, the device unexpectedly accelerated towards us at full speed, narrowly missing my child. Despite being in a well-lit environment, the Neo showed erratic tracking behavior. While I appreciate the concept, I cannot trust the device, especially around my family, which was my primary intended use. I will consider purchasing a second-generation model if improvements are made to address these issues. Worth to mention they addressed the situation in a good manner.

I have the same issue with the follow me mode. I think it's the shadows that throw it off. Nice vid and location!

No, but really, if they could increase it in follow mode up to 35kmh, they can to 40kmh in sport too😢

Would love to see what the dji Neo 2 offers next year. And I'd love to see a higher resolution of 24 or 33 megapixels over 12mp and 4k 60fps would be just enough. Also the option for fully rotating gimble for no crop 4k vertical 16:9 video.. I'd also expect some tracking modes like tracking my car or bike in follow mode. Also if the software internally offers some filters or video luts will be a cherry on cake 😊

I heard a rumour that an upcoming DJI Neo firmware update is planned which will enable it to be controlled with the mini 2 controller? Not sure what model the mini 2 controller is.

The last update on my mini 4 slowed my sd cards down to unusable, anyone else notice this? Normal pics take longer than a 48 MP to store and after a few slow stores I get a warning about needing a new sd card or some such jazz.

Hi there...i think after upgrade to latest firmware when dji follow with vertical mode, the speed is very unstable and many times neo its to close with object tracking and sometimes do like "break" to keep the distance with the object.
I dont know what happen here, maybe because they increase speed for this firmware ? Or juat bug on their vertical mode ?
I try many times today with normal walking speed.

Hi Rob, thanks for the time putting in this video. Maybe you can help me on this. I have the HoverAir X1 Pro at the moment. Also just bought the Neo Motion Fly More combo with the Goggles N3. haven't tried it yet because I'm not sure if will return it. The reason I bought is because I like fly manually to capture landscapes and things like that. I thought flying with the goggles would be easier to do because everything is in front of you. With 1.15.4 the issue I found is a Warning "High Altitude. Fly with caution" After Latest Firmware. You can not swipe it off the screen, it sits on the top with an orange background blocking the screen. DJI says it now 'normal' so for anyone that lives above 1,500m or 4,921 feet, enjoy the "High Altitude. Fly with caution" with the orange background or move below what they consider High Altitude.

Did you do any review on a backpack where the frame sits away from your back slightly and allows more airflow. Do you have a drone backpack that you recommend?
