A brain drain is not good for the future especially but the current tax loss is now and that's not good either. Russia has had a huge 'brain drain' as well. -- Economists say the real impact of sanctions won't hit hard for 6 months to a year - but then look out !

Sanctions just don't seem to be working. Most companys like Coke and Pepsi and Frito Lays have found a way round the sanctions.

There are any restrictions on banks in Belarus? is it possible to open an bank account in Belarus? how much fee (transfer and exchange fee) i need to pay as a foreign when i transfer money to bank in Belarus? and is it possible to send out money after i finish my visit?

It’s funny that you mention the people surviving through the communist time when in actuality they still live in a communist country it’s just not called it. Without a doubt it’s a dictatorship that’s run by a socialist dictator that follows Stalinist views.

With the loss of technology jobs and what comes along with technology and the loss of GDP and artificially stabilization of currency you are on a ticking time bomb. Do some research and look at similar countries in similar situation in history and you’ll see the outcome is not good.

Belarus is one of those whose currency has completely crashed. In 2001 you could get $1 for .30 ruble. Today it costs 3.5 rubles for one dollar or a loss of 92%. As in Russia, the market has determined the ruble to be about 4.5 based on prices. (Based on prices in Russia, the economy has valued the Russian ruble at about 150-1) That's the trouble with "official" currency rates and "real" currency rates.

Will Belarus and Russia merge?

You gotta remember that Belarus, Sweden, some african country and another one I don't remember were the only ones to not buy into the covid scam

But only in Belarus did that call come from the very top when Lukashenko told people to grab a drink and go to a sauna instead of worry about the scamdemic
