I rate Thor but to do 501kg just to get one over on Eddie is not nice plus Eddie said he was in a dark place after he won in 2017 due to thors comments blowing up online when it should have been the best time of eddies life , Eddie hall made it possible to lift 500kg before that it was thought to be impossible thus opening the door for many other strong men to give it ago just like the 4 minute mile was thought to be impossible
Or a marathon in under 2 hours by kipchoge these feet’s brake the boundary’s so Eddi’s lift will always be the best in my opinion

Don’t get me wrong I don’t feel sorry for Eddie’s the guys got that much money he doesn’t know what to do with it 😆

Hey guys number 1: Thor cant stop a worldwide issue, what should he do say the heck with everyone elses health and lets get the comp going now so we call all compete or be safer and do it in a safe logical manner. Its like your blaming Thor and all involved including non Thor camp ppl for the vyrus. Totally non sensical.

Number 2. Say Thor did this or Eddie did that, the botton line is you can either lift whats on the bar or you cant. To say a lift "doesnt count" when we have eyeballs to see both men literally lifted the weight off of the ground is totally lunacy lol. Both Eddie and Thor lifted the heaviest deadlift weight records ever in history. If you want to argue symantics or woulda coulda shoulda that doesnt matter they still got it up.

If there was no sanctioned or pro boards that governed strongman and they only recorded who lifted the heaviest weights Thors deadlift is #1 & Eddie's is #2, factually speaking and literally. Governed or not, official opinion on record or not, Thor has literally deadlifted the most if you feel he owns the record or not and THATS what bothers Eddie fans.

Number 4. I didnt know Eddie did this or that for his lift picking equipment and whatever else, I dont pay attention to that I literally just see if the person can get the weight up thats all I care about.

Number 5. I ❤ Thor & Eddie, WR are awesome, but id much rather appreciate Thor & Eddie for their unwordly power and dedication & all the memories.

P.S. under the "vryus" is Thor's excuse logic, then Lebron & anyone else who got a WR or championship or medal doesnt count either and needs to be re competed for so someone please make me a full list worldwide so we can be fair to Thor. 🎉

Eddie went places in his mind that should need years of therapy. His starting point was Physical, he lifted with mind and a machine like physique. I have trained with weights all my life and in my late 40's was chuffed to do 3 sets of 10 with 60kg dumbells on incline press. Seems like nothing when you compare to these guys.

Are u so naive to believe they can't pull it? They are asked to not to. Why? Because the hype is real and they can just go indefinitely with people paying tickets to go see such events and merchandise and stuff.

I guess this record will not get broken anytime soon… at least the woman record r going up by a lot in the past few years and woman record might get to 350kg eventually
