Too bad normal people like me are not even allowed to park at NAMM. For everyone wondering what that means, it means that unless you’re a demonstrator, content creator, artist, a celebrity, or were invited by a friend in the music industry, you’re not even allowed to buy a ticket to NAMM let alone go to it. Since I am none of these things, I have given up my dreams of going to NAMM forever.

Electric hang is silly..it's just a bunch of trigger pads fitted into a 'hang' shaped container. literally ANY trigger pads can be used to play with ANY samples one chooses including hang samples if desired. Seems like an overpriced gimmick. I'll stick to my launchpad. Why do bad ideas always get so much publicity?

Masterwork cymbals are AWESOME. They could perhaps print cymatic patterns onto the cymbals that actually match that particular cymbals frequency response? That would look INSANE

Acoustic e-drums to me defeat the whole purpose of electric drums. Does bigger give better tone? Nope...the advantage of electric drums has always been portability..this ENTIRELY defeats that. If I have to cart around a giant electric kit, I'll much rather just use my acoustic kit. For sections where I need samples I'll just use drum trigger pads OR launchpad...

So many drums,....so many bad drummers. More drums than ever. Maybe too many of both.

That was such a stupid and unnecessary comment when he knew h f*ukd up. Why make that stupid comment, it was so not funny.

The various kits are unique, and some sound ok, but hard to hear in that chaotic background. I wish that drummers doing the demos would stick to classic beats instead of going berserk which makes a good kit sound trashy and difficult to pick out sounds that make it stand out.

Great stuff! That Stainless Steel kit made me think Lars Ulrich and St. Anger RIGHT WAY :P

- That handpan is neat, especially being able to change it on the fly without getting out a different pan. I wonder if it could stand up to using sticks on it?
- Graphic cymbals: Meh, they look awesome, but the sound is so dull. Would painting them muffle them too?
- Masterworks cymbals: Oooooh those look cool. It looks more laser-cut than painted. I guess that answers my question about whether painting them kills the sound. :)
- The ATV set looks like you could really switch out the heads and have a full acoustic kit
- Those Smackpacks would look SO sweet in a deep, dark blue, or a pearl black with the gold hardware
- The wide pedals were just kinda...weird. I bet Estepario Siberiano could make them SMOKE.
- Oh man imagine that Dream Kit with electric drums. That would be PERFECT for someone who doesn't have a lot of space. Even better than the current "fold it up and slide it behind the couch" kits that are out now.
- Both of the metal drum booths - they look really sweet, but I wonder how heavy they are. They seem like they'd weigh a TON.
