I fully agree that the automatic gear box is much better for track use. I have driven both the automatic and the manual, and the automatic shifts incredibly fast. But, I did recently buy the 2023 A-91 manual, and it is hands down so much more engaging for daily driving. Also the rev-matching is great if you choose to track it. And what it loses in 0-60 times, it makes up for with engagement... and smiles. All things to consider when buying the right one for you.

very quick upshifts but slow downshifts compared to a dct

Love my auto Supra. If I want to work a clutch, I'll just hop on one of my superbikes. Manual cars are overrated unless it's a classic sports car that performs better in a manual.
