The thing about the Dead was, when they were on, there was no better band in the world. But when they were off... they really SUCKED. On this day they were on fire. Great show!

What a long strange trip life has been since the dead era. Trippin around the country in a van with some few friends and drugs going to see a kick ass band. Only care in the world was getting to the next show

I'll never forget this day and it was the last time I saw the Dead as well. I remember the huge plane that flew overhead and dropped all those flowers over the crowd. What a beautiful day it was for the memorial!

I was there, and this WAS a very Special show the whole day was a perfect tribute to Bill...

An event that's embedded in my soul. Yes, I too was there. From my view Ive witnessed the most beautiful happenings that life could offer. From the Hippies dancing on the food trucks to the Hippies in the pines swaying back and forth to the guy who was recording the event on a reel to reel next too me. For that moment in time, I had the best friends anyone could have !!

I still have my Bart ticket and a benefit bill graham button. There were no tickets as it was a free concert. Great time. Me and two friends went from Sacramento.

Thirty one years ago today (now 3 Nov 2022). I was there with my 6 month old son. Last year, he bought me a ticket to see Dead & Company and he has a whole catalog of Dave's Picks Dead concerts.

My only woodstock style experience.. 31yrs ago

I was there. I heard about it on the radio. I just happened to be in SF at the time. Took a taxi. The radio said do not drive there...... A once in a lifetime concert experience.

I was there, did 13 gram wash, then 30 gram wash, then got hit in the head with a red carnation & Chinese New Years tickets. Best show ever❤😂🎉😢!!!

I skipped school for this show

My brother's coworker gave him a couple hits of acid but couldn't verify if they were good anymore. We took them for this concert and authenticated their quality. Unforgettable day but regretfully, this was only time I saw the Dead.

I was there! Loving the music, the vibes, the life!
