This video was very well done, I really enjoyed the progression and learned so much.

Feathering is the biggest myth in studio photography, it just makes the light source smaller and thereby makes the light harder. It has no other effect.

Nature very rarely has one light source if you keep in mind that things reflect, bounce or absorb light...... Its not an insult to photography to recognize it.... just go walk the streets at not and you will become aware of how much light is out there in the world. Work with it all to create realistic imagery that resonates with mood and a story. ONE LIGHT imagery means it was done in a box of darkness. A very expensive way to do the work.

When we move light away or towards the subject why dont we adjust the power of it instead of changing the f-value? What changes by changing f-value but not flash power?
