What I want to know is what lens I should use for my videos.. if anyone wants to let me know what to use them respond please

I did like the Sony series 5100 and the similar series, except the generation that came after (6300 and that series) solved a lot of issues that earlier Sony series had. Although you can solve the overheating issues with off the shelf solutions these days.

I don't see it mentioned often, but I've been using a Canon 90D for streaming and video work since 2020. I was already soaking in the Canon pool with a couple lenses, so the upsides that sold me on it were great low-light image and auto-focus. The only downside is it's a cropped sensor, but I use a 10-18mm so I'm not really hurting about it.

Thoughts on the new Nikons? Z6 III is a video beast.

I have a ZV-E10 and used it for streaming for 6+ months. Got the Sigma lens, etc. I also have good lighting. The works :).

I switched to an Insta360 Link 2 and almost nobody noticed the difference.

I fell into the trap of "better hardware = better stream", but that only goes so far. I would suggest putting your money into your audio well before you put it into a better camera.

I do a lot of content for other people so my FX30 is just perfect for my stream and all my videos, go with the 16mm f1.4 chef kiss.

What this video to me shows is that the camera space is kinda getting exciting. These really cool cinema features are making their way down to the really budget cameras. A 5100 being that cheap means the most basic of streams will look good. I am on the 6400 and am wanting to upgrade. I really want Sony to innovate. The latest A1 or whatever its called is cool... But the next generation of camera's will be the kinda first time full cinema cameras will be in the hands of the average person who cares about a good quality camera. FX3 was able to film the creator.

I just bought the ZV-E10 and it looks amazing, using a Elgato HD60x capture card to get the 1080p 60fps out of it which the normal elgato capture card doesn't, and works better than the "streamer" function which only outputs at 720p which like why

I'm amazed at how far cameras have come along. The S5ii is such a boss of a camera but hot damn $1k + is a lot! But it does so many things! Agh!

It's been THE BEST purchase I've made - constant power & the internal fan that never lets it overheat and the the full use of Sony lenses? best upgrade from my a6140.
I've done a 34 day stream and had not one issue of overheating.

Sony A5100 or Canon 5D Mark III or 6D for live streaming? They are in the same ball park. I do stream with lower light than I should and the camera is 6-8 feet away from me.

Currently using nikon d5100 and webcams...fighting to get either to give me the quality I want with my DJ live stream.

Hello, great video as usual. I have two cameras here and am looking into some streaming. I have a Sony A7IV and a Sony FX30... which would be better for streaming? I already know, both are a bit overkill.... but I already have them from a different project.

I'd swear every time someone makes one of these videos the older used Sony go up in price or out of supply. Conversely there's been a deal on the ZV-E10 in the UK at £474 body, when the used "like new" is £439.

Sony EZ-V10 as well as EZ-V10 ii both overheat especially with USB-C connection when you want to have higher vid quality. It overheats even with a dummy battery on higher vid quality. So the max streaming time stays under ~2h. There’s more info about it on a video by Think Media.

I built out a professional studio for work, and honest we got the S5iiX because of your recommendation for them. And we are super happy with them overall.

Can you do an Ep on headphones? Open back/Close Back headphones. Also how to set up headphones and utilizing EQ programs for gaming? Best headphones go with what streaming mics?
