Recreating Pinterest Outfits for Fall!

I think one of the main reasons I love your videos is how every time you're in what looks to me like a finished outfit and you hold up a piece like "but what if we added THIS" I instinctively am like "surely not" and then basically without fail you come back and you were RIGHT. I don't know when I'm going to learn but for now I will just continue to enjoy being repeatedly wrong and surprised <3 (This comment is about the plaid vest over the plaid dress and under the leather jacket.)

Me in the 70’s, brown skirt, cardigan and gogo boots. My favorite look. ❤ I am going to recreate it for a Halloween get together but add a beret and a Jerry Garcia skeleton tie.

For outfit number six, I think the bright red works because of the stark white pants! The calmer red of the jacket helps tone the rest of the outfit down. She looks GOOD!!

Hey Liz, YT recommended your channel a few days ago and I love your content 🌸 I’ve been inspired to make changes to my looks, like with styling and layering more creatively. Some items at the back of my closet have been revived to serve new looks! It still amazes me how much an outfit choice can make one feel so confident, happy and empowered.

Poll: When you get your fall clothes at the start of the season, do you check inside your boots before you put them on?

I think the two reds would look cool together with different pants. The white pants are such a strong contrast with the top half that the contrast between the reds becomes just a bridge too far. If the pants were darker and lower contrast with the rest (maybe the cargo pants from the next look!), then I think the two reds would have more of a chance to harmonize and play off of each other. Kind of like how the bag in the inspo image is more of a tarnished pewter than a bright silver, you know? (I also think the silver shoes would have more of an impact with a darker/more muted pair of pants. But I am also biased against white pants, so do with that what you will.)

Have you done a “how to use Pinterest” video? I’ve used it to make boards of cute animal videos and mood boards for events, but the outfit inspo concept is beyond my grasp. I just pick a bunch of individual items and get email ads to buy them outright. It doesn’t help me incorporate last year’s clothes 😅

Also, love that you have shorter jeans than the inspo photo. Autumn rains and long jeans do not mix.

This has been dropped at the perfect time for me, I've been trying to cut down on my wardrobe/use more of the stuff I own and learn to layer now that it's fall.

Also I found an identical pair of pants to the ones with red stars but they were far too small for me 😢 but I immediately said to my mom "Liz has a pair like this!" As if you're one of my bffs 😂

I have a pair of striped shorts a lot like your pants. Except they have little red crabs 🦀 instead of stars!

Love a full length pant on you much more than the ankle pants. Just elongates your frame much more and looks more cohesive!
