Hi G, A few comments after watching this one. There have been a few guys in Europe doing this J.L.Naudin is one. The coil inside the cooker is not really a true Tesla pancake. It is a single wind flat coil and they use what is called Litz wire to reduce magnetic eddy currents. Which is why it will have a short transmission range as you say. Litz wire is basically twisted stranded wire as you can see it. Also the col use made for the top side should be a true Tesla BIFILAR wound pancake and it should be flat hence the pancake part. The guys in Europe do not use iron ring to kickstart the cooker. Instead hey use the bifilar wound pancake and hook up a minimum of 1500 watts of either non-inductive or resistive load to the coil. This last part is important, non-inductive OR Resistive load. Then the cooker starts itself. Google JL Naudin if you don't already know of him and look at the GeGene.

Electrical resonance is when inductive and capacitive reactance are equal and cancel each other out. This guy has less than a 5th grade education and talks nothing but BS. Inductive principles are well known as are everything else he name drops but doesn't understand. Notice that it's October of 2021 and he has produced absolutely nothing? There's a perfectly good explanation for that. It's that Gerard lacks even basic electrical theory knowledge.

When you tried running the induction motor from the coil output, and it didn't, a thought came to mind that suppose you introduced a capacitor before the motor for it to charge first, will it allow the motor to run?

Heat and light are result of shaking(vibration).
What comes out of coil is very high frequency. Thus resulting in extra heat and luminosity.

Conventional Motors however can't handle such high frequency as they need workable frequency range for which they are built to work, hence no effect on motor
