I've done 100m with a .22lr Sig Mosquito with irons. Hardest part was the fact my sights completely occluded the target. Recently I did 200m with a Canik Rival in 9mm with a red dot. The hardest part about that was honestly the crappy ammo I was using. Had I been using a hot +P load it would've been really easy. I was using 9mm 124gr AAC fmj which is obviously a really cheap range ammo(its made by PSA lol). I was getting like 30" of dispersion at that distance with a consistent hold and a good trigger press. I'm gonna try it with better ammo one day but I was just fooling around when last time.
You're right, 100m is easy but whenever I say that people think I'm bragging. When I started shooting pistols I always shot at 25m because that was the size of the pistol bay at the range I'm a member of and there's a little hut 25m from the berm at each bay and most of my stuff was on the table in the hut so I stood by the hut. People think I'm bragging when I say 25m is extremely easy but its actually just easy and the people who think that's braggadocious need to shoot their friggin guns more.
This dude is the realest one in the gun community. He seems to be the only one out there who's actually spreading useful information, and he does it without any cheesy tough guy bullshit. I'm a political moderate so it's pretty jarring for me to watch channels named after rhodesian PMCs, for example.
There's none of that here. Just simple information that'll make you a better shooter.
As a pistol shooter in Sweden I have always felt that americans dont like shooting at anything over 10 yards, so ofc 25/50/100 feels like long range for them. In europe 25/50 meters is the default distances and there is few disciplines that shoot closer then that, because hitting stuff at 10 meters is not that hard unless you do it on time. we have IPSC and accuracy is never relevant in those courses.
Im much less impressed with 100 yard shots, as I do it regulary in competition unlike americans.
whats more critical is the weapons precision, they are not as accurate as rifles. 2" spread at 25 yards is 8" at 100, so at that distance you "loose" quite a lot of shots just because of spread. most rifles can do atleast 1.5" at 100 yards.
But to judge pistols/revolvers accuracy you need a ransom rest. Unlike rifles pistols are really dependant on the one holding it.
You have peak Chad shooting status. Your humble and a good teacher when you're breaking down everything for us on how we can improve ourselves. Keep doing you King.
ОтветитьThese videos are great. Please do more especially methods on how to hit accurately at distance.
ОтветитьYou are a knowledgeable young man. Perhaps in a few years you will realize vulgar words are not needed or helpful in your video.
ОтветитьYes! Part 2 please bro!
ОтветитьI am near sighted and i have old eyes, without glasses i can see my sights just fine but anything pass several feet is a blur and vice versa with glasses or contacts. Do you use different power eyeglasses when shooting vs regular daily use? Thank you, love your garand shorts!!
ОтветитьIt’s one thing trying to do with two hands. I know I can’t do it with one hand.
ОтветитьIt'd be cool to see what the main body of a practice session looks like now.
ОтветитьMy only question is what banjo do you have back there?
Ответитьi have the feeling jared is not fond of f250s😂
Ответитьdid he delete his comment
ОтветитьCongrats you’re destroying your wrists doing that
ОтветитьLove your content, man! You cut out all the bullshit and put the haters in their place, like a young Paul Harrel. Call me crazy, but i don't think we've seen any 44 Mag content on your channel yet. Any plans for some in the future? Semper Fi!
ОтветитьGreat content! Love that I ran into you’re channel. Got my sub 👍
ОтветитьI got a blue tabby as well. They’re the most mild manner and affectionate cats.
ОтветитьUnrelated, but is that an acoustic bass over by your jacket?
ОтветитьAwesome and helpfull channel even for a novice shooter like me, greeting from Argentina💪🏻🇦🇷
ОтветитьJust moved from watching your shorts to your longer vids. I just like the way you explain things you don't try to sound like you some kind of tactical warrior or whatever and me coming from an engineering background I can understand and that's the most important part
ОтветитьDude didn't level anything but gun smithing so he can be a grand gunmaster around level 20. Impressive.
ОтветитьDo you think the Jews would take our guns away to let in 3rd world mud people?
ОтветитьAmen god bless you god
ОтветитьAppreciate the ADHD cat
ОтветитьAnyone else jusy got a blk screen... ill try another device but did wanna make it know as a problem
ОтветитьWhat kind of gun is that??
ОтветитьBro obviously your follow-up shots are going to be more accurate if you take two to three seconds to aim again😅 handguns are built in a way to shoot is rapid as possible as accurately as possible, so shooting them like a retarded gangster does nothing for you, and your arguing over something stupid😂😂
ОтветитьYou’re like a younger hickok45. No politics, no edgy teen shit. Just knowledge and good vibes. Also I love the cat
ОтветитьPersonally I shoot better at 10 yards than 25…. So to me, the distance makes it harder, the small mistake we make will more important with the increasing distance
ОтветитьThat was meant for the sport until this guy 💀😭
ОтветитьA bit off topic, I was looking at your glasses in the video and it strikes me that you appear to be quite nearsighted like me. My glasses are -10.5 on both eyes and just out of curiosity, what are your glasses and where do you buy them?
ОтветитьExcellent Video!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU. REALLY ENJOY ALL YOUR VIDEOES
ОтветитьAbsolutely no idea how I'm just finding this channel. Dude is incredibly well spoken. Subscribed!
ОтветитьIm thinking this guy drives a ford. The subtle F250 comments got me to that conclusion. I personally drive an F250. Its the truck to have folks.
Ответитьfor someone who wears glasses you really don’t appreciate that distance makes seeing and focusing on the target harder!! also wind and bdc
ОтветитьIs it camera distortion, or do you like to hold canted to the left so your sights are at 11 o’clock? I thought I noticed it in another video too
ОтветитьCurrently bingeing your whole channel.
I am learning a lot.
Fist shot after a longer break is often a good one in my experience.
ОтветитьMany of the factors you mentioned later in the video are exactly why I personally find longer range shooting more impressive than close-range indoor target shooting. Dealing with wind and other environmental conditions, with bullet drop, and with uncertain distances are essential parts of shooting skill.
ОтветитьBeginner question; And I admit I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I thought that while target size and distance can scale with MOA as you say, making longer shots easier, some longer shots are trickier due to factors related to the travel time of the shot. Am I right there?
ОтветитьOn another note, it seems that people aren’t impressed in Olympic archery shooting which is done at 70m even though it takes entire muscle work to send the arrow but also did it without rear sight, just because they used modern bow (as if it has auto-aim device).
ОтветитьI would love to hear your thoughts on grip and stance when shooting bullseye. Do you have the same tension when shooting a 9mm or the 22lr. I see a lot people standing with shoulder to target and you are standing more square. Thank you for good videos :)
ОтветитьGood Kitty Kat.
ОтветитьHere I am thinking I’m Einstein for trying to learn one new thing a day.
ОтветитьLove your content and im so glad i stumbled upon it. Thank you for the knowledge
ОтветитьI'm loving the direct talk. No fluff or unnecessary BS
ОтветитьDad had both k22 and k38 masterpieces well made shot great wish i was gifted them
Ответить
