1.) He said he wasn't rehearsed, he just jumped up on stage and went for it, and by the sounds of it, I don't think his monitor was working, he was off key in a few spots, it happens.

B) he's not Waylon, nobody is, stop comparing him to his daddy and enjoy his music as it's own thing.

3.) He's on stage with a band, not behind a keyboard.

Much better than the other versions I have recently heard by Dierks Bentley and Travis Truth, neither were good. Love that this Waylon's band, makes a difference and Shooter has moments of sounding like his dad, he should go with it and not try to be so different.

Waylon is one of a kind. I don't want to choose between shooter and waylon but I chose waylon every time. I've listened to his music since I was 9 years old so I'm biased.

I’ve noticed that whenever Shooter covers one of his dads songs, everyone becomes a critic and a perfectionist. He’s made it pretty damn clear in his songs he ain’t his dad and never will be.

He is terrible.
He should give it up get his hair cut and get a job.He will never measure up to his dad whom I loved very much.
