Understanding Medical Terminology

Good video except He mispronounces hysterosalpingo-oophorectomy. The correct pronunciation (phonetically) is: his stir oh sal ping oh oof or ecto mee. The oo of oophor/o is like the oo in room and zoom. not "oh-oh uh"

Speaking of prefixes “pre” means to come before” so to precede something it has to come before the object and the hyphen comes after the prefix. The proper word was proceed.

Many thanks, I have been researching "plr products for sale" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Teyvery Yeyonnor Formula - (do a search on google ) ? It is a great one off guide for getting quality article PLR minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy =
Esophago = esophagus
Gastro = stomach
Duodeno = duodenum
Scopy = a study using a scope
This exam is often called an EGD and is quite often performed with a colonoscopy. It is a scope down the throat, passing through stomach just to where it enters the small intestine (duodenum). Patient is under a mild sedative and unaware.

I found if I had trouble remembering the spelling of a word, I would often find smaller words hidden within it, which often helped.
Example: "symptomatology" has the word "tomato" in the middle.

Even with somewhat difficult nonmedical words, a similar method works.

Example: "reminiscent"
" re-mini-scent"
could be remembered as 'smelling (scent) a small (mini) smell, twice (re)'
Little tricks that really helped my sons become excellent spellers. It's so much more fun than math! 😊
