why not use an artifact?

So Starting out just hit max level, No idea what to do or what gear to buy as starting out to use until im “good enough” to fight in the pvp area. Just something that’ll help me in 3v3s etc rn. Until i can get all the exact pieces

Can you give us a few leveling pvp builds? That work without specific gear / traits? Any way to make FS/Hatchet work at lower levels? Maybe level one more character since it's so fast on the fresh start realm and give us some amazing PvP content. Kristopher(New World Content Creator) says the fresh start low level pvp is some of the most fun he's ever had in New World. And I definitely agree. Fresh start New World is where it's at for sure.

I deff recommend getting a ring with the Hearty trait. Gives you a little extra stamina so you can have a 3rd dodge in an emergency, and just helps in general with the great stamina regen.

nice vid! I know Torrent is hard to pass on hatchet, but have you tried feral rush with the perk on the weapon? unlikely you gonna land both hits, but either hit will trigger a 50% slow for 3 secs (and a 2 sec root if you hit them in their back) + it also hits like a truck. I lke to combo it with scorpion. Scorpion pull (and a conditional whooping 40% rend), into LA into cyclone. They slowed. Then you got slow/root from distancing throw, slow/root from feral rush. Try it out when you have a chance. ggs

Thank you for the build. I know you said in the comments Scorpions sting with light armor. I was wondering aswell if it is much worse running with Rapier instead of Hatchet with Scorpions. I know you are missing the burst from finisher but I like it thematically

broken and meta hatchet and you sound so proud playing a s tier build so many builds are broken they patch them before and now al lare back liek it was when it came out and if i know ags its gonna take long time before ned and then this game is emty again few weeks from now becuse what is really? one raid duplutions some shange to cinimatic this game is doing a good job of milking players of their money and now they prob have anuff money/budget and testing on their own engine to make their last game i have 10k hours and i havent played more then a week in 2024 lololol

I like hatchet builds, but for wins I play fire staff. That is insane op with target lock. I'm top dps in all arenas I play and always in top 3 kills in outpost rush. In duels feel also good with rapier. Hatchet is hard countered by range assist IMO.

Def gonna try this build. Came to NWA mainly for PvP but some PvE. I’ve tried all sorts of weapon combos. This one looks fun. One question, why don’t you use the other AoE attack that trips every it hits?

Nah Big Phoney. dude is cutting clip after going all in and then after getting instantly blown up by Musket/Firestaff. Dude always cuts clip to next highlight. What a LOSER!
