when you have aging parents someone has to step up and be an advocate, you must have a list of meds and health history be able to access their portal and be willing to oppose health care decisions. Doctors and nurses are human and life changing mistakes happen more often when pts do not have a willing advocate. Patients have more rights than you may know. Im so sorry for this family.
ОтветитьAll these nurses care about these days is an ass
ОтветитьThat makes you wonder how many other black people they've killed by giving them too many dosages and gotten away with it 🤔😢
ОтветитьHeartbreaking 😢my sincere condolences and prayers 🙏 for your entire family thank you for your strength you are definitely changing things at that hospital 🙌
ОтветитьI know this lady is hurt but Jesus is my Everything! Because man will fail you; just as in this instance Condolences to the family 🙏
ОтветитьFamily members stop talking , and let your attorneys handle this matter further
ОтветитьThe only positive thing to come out of this is the mandatory transparency‼️🙆🏽♂️🤔😡☹️🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьNot surprised . It's piedmont
ОтветитьSounds intentional or the ppl not have a license
ОтветитьI can see this happening. I was admitted to Rockdale Piedmont Hospital and was given several medications in which I questioned. I thought maybe they were giving too much medicine at the same time but there was this medication that they gave me every day that increased my blood sugar levels. i wasn't a diabetic when I came in and didn't want to be a diabetic when I came out. I thank God that after spending 4 days in that hospital I was feeling much better and the issues I had coming in I no longer had but I was on their butt about the medications that they were given me all at one time because it seemed to be to much. Especially the medication that caused adverse affect I was not comfortable with.
ОтветитьThats the only reason im scared to move to the south
ОтветитьWow😮
ОтветитьOnly called becaused legally obligated. So non caring.
ОтветитьMy heart breaks for the family. What horribe oversight and treatment by the doctor!
ОтветитьThey were supposed to give him 100 every six hours! 😮These prescription bottles need clearer explanations of how these pills should be taken! 😢
ОтветитьGrave incompetence!!! WTH
ОтветитьBless His Beautiful Soul and family 😘🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 money won't bring Him back, but to hold those accountable for that foul act is the Most important thing😘👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьGod is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. 😢🙏
ОтветитьOh Jesus !
ОтветитьCant imagine all the ederly who are hospitalized without a family member. No advocate. Nobody to speak up for them. Hospitals have become dangerous today. Its the staff
ОтветитьYears ago I had a brain aneurysm and Rockdale was going to send me home after stabilizing my blood pressure only. An Aunt made them do a Cat Scan and when they found out they panicked and said they couldn't handle it. God is good, I was off by helicopter to Emory. I'm still here...
ОтветитьVery alarming that too much medication was administered that poison control was notified. Very sad....
ОтветитьIf your family goes in alert but ends up in the hospital looking or getting much worse, that's a red flag. Remove the loved one from that hospital to another immediately. I'm so sorry for her lost. They murdered her husband. 😢
Ответить🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьMay God bless her and her strength. She's amazing. My brother was admitted there and the doctor on duty performed two erroneous surgeries on him. They also told us there were no signs of cancer but his gallbladder might need to be removed. They placed a stint the 1st time incorrectly. They actually went back in to reposition it. I later found it was the cancer. They were just doing things to bill his insurance as he was a vet. We finally had him transferred and they were absolutely horrible regarding that process. Told the ambulance if they don't find him a bed, don't bring him back there. At the new hospital, they removed the stint and put in a drain for his liver. He eventually transitioned 10 days after leaving the hospital because a hospice nurse closed his drain when all she had to do was clean it. All I want is what she wants since you can never get your loved one back. To ensure it doesn't happen to anyone else. He was the hardest loss of my life. ❤🕊🙏🏽
ОтветитьBlack people are affected negatively when it comes to everything, especially in the medical field.
ОтветитьJesus this is horrible !!!!
ОтветитьAwwwww🙏🏾💔🕊️😇
ОтветитьEveryone should be held accountable!!! Anyone who attends this hospital better be on everypne 🍑 when they care for you. This is so devastating for his wife and family.
ОтветитьMy husband passed at 49 years old at Piedmont Hospital. He went in for stomach surgery. He was doing okay. They had scheduled for him to be discharged from the hospital. A couple of days later he developed flu like symptoms while in the hospital. It got so bad that we had to put him on life support. I was a widow at 45 years old. I still don't understand how my husbund was being prepared for discharge and then end up on life support a couple of days later at piedmont hospital. My children and I miss my husband so much! God is in control. My condolences for the family. May God bless you and comfort you!
ОтветитьThis is exactly why people refuse to go to the hospital
ОтветитьWhen your a person of color in America. At a hospital. You are disposable..look at the white nurse who was killing and poisoning infants. Look how they treat women of color who are delivering and their INFANTS. Whte people are evil AF!
ОтветитьMy heart breaks for this family! I hope they win the malpractice suit! This is egregious!
ОтветитьI'm so sorry for your loss. And I hope your lawyer can get a huge amount of money so that you can live on and establish a trust for your grands and great grands. It won't bring your loved one back, but the hospitals will learn to take better care of our families. Hold them accountable.
ОтветитьHow sad and scary when you can't trust those who are supposed to help us get better, medically. May the Lord give his wife, family, and dear friends peace and justice. 🙏🏾🫶🏾🙌🏾
Ответитьsadly enough even if you stay with your love one this is likely to happen because they just don't care and if you try to speak up they will harm your love one in other ways. Happened to a friend family at Touro Hospital in New Orleans with Dr. John Amoss.
ОтветитьI hope that wasn't the way it happen if so I hope the family get justice thing like that happen doctors are not always right so sorry to hear that
ОтветитьWhat the hell is that? That's murder. Between nurses and doctor, none catch that for so many days?
ОтветитьI hate Piedmont Rockdale some of those nurses are nasty to the patients in pain. There is a good nurse there name Angie she is kind and attentive and she cares.
ОтветитьThey were experimenting on that Man
ОтветитьPLEASE....IF THEY NOT GETTING BETTER, TAKE THEM TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL!
ОтветитьMy goodness😢
My heart goes out this lady. I wish there would have been a patient advocate for him
Sending my sincerest prayers and condolences to you ma’am the video is chilling of Mr Albert smh
ОтветитьThey murdered him. Tears to my eyes.
ОтветитьUneducated people. Yall was supposed to fight them from day one.
ОтветитьOh Lord Jesus!
ОтветитьI used to work here, before they became Piedmont. While in orientation, I assure you we were told that the number one reason for the law suits were for giving patients the wrong medication. This is horrible! I'm so sorry this happened to her and their family. 😢😢😢 May God comfort them
ОтветитьAbsolutely Disgraceful. Unfortunately not surprised - Piedmont is known for these so called "mistakes". In particular and from personal experience Piedmont Rockdale and Newton. Worst facilities for any type of medical care;
Careless, incompetent nurses, doctors, and case managers and administrators who do not listen to family/ caregivers and cover up issues you raise about your loved one's care.
Stay away from Piedmont if at all possible, or stay with your loved one and be as involved in their care as you can every step. Sadly, you really have to go into hospitals these days looking out for yourself and/or loved one's best interest and not expecting the hospital staff to do so. People really do not care these days.
Hurts so Bad to hear this lady Cry 😢. Shut that hospital down!! 👎 Prayers for family and friends 🙏. This is horrible. My condolences
