Home Depot VS Lowe's!!

Since I own 250 shares of HD which I purchased for $22.68 per share in 2009 I tend to favor HD but when going to the store each have their advantages. I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars in each while remodeling 3 houses.

Depends on what I’m looking for ! I know I won’t get a faucet for a trailer from Lowe’s our camper they don’t come any good I bought three of them in one year for my dad and they all started leaking in the same place talk about a bad design on and Home Depot don’t carry them

Home depot but I am there when they are unlocking their doors. They are still friendly at that time and willing to help you. go in right before their shift ends and you better hope they didn't have a shitty day with other customers. all they want to do his get away fast.

At the depot I don't just shop I become a damn worker because I have to climb the shelves to get the item they say is out of stock but is literally right above and just never gets brought down to the proper location. I also get to locate products that were mis stocked and after all that I have to cash myself out. Nope not done yet, I some times have to correct prices that rang up wrong.lmao. Ya ace is the closest you get to the old days of real hardware stores.

I prefer Lowe’s over The Home Depot because the CEO of THD is a Trump supporter. Oh, and I learned cancel culture from my Trump supporting sister-in-law 😆

Lowes for materials and Home Depot for tools

Lowes has a better AC system than Depots swamp coolers.

Home depot is a man's store. I feel right at home. Lowes is more geared towards women or panzy men that need clean floors and care about asthetics

Either HD or Lowes has employees that know absolutely zero about anything . Ask them a question, you get the typical response..."this isnt my department, that person will be back tomorrow".... their response when you ask a simple question..

Home Depot is less expensive by far. Like to get some of th good lumber that goes to the USA or elsewhere cause they have ..... 2nd and less at best

Lowes delivered a new toilet to my brother and when his plumber went to install it he said this has previously installed then removed it still had installation stuff on the bottom

Home Depot has treated me like I don't belong there because I don't have a lot of money. Lowes tries to help me when I ask for help except the wood department. They are very rude there.

Since Sherwin now owns Valspar, there isn't a need to go to Lowes.

I don't care for either. Home Depot employees are ghost. Lowe's was My preferred until they asked me to work there registers and not be paid

Lowes is a little higher end than Home Depot and Home Depot has a tendcy to discontinue certain products and colors to make space for more profitable items and Lowes is more likely to have some of these discontinued items that may be necessary to make minor repairs.

Menards is way better

Sherwin Williams bought Valspar. Valspar spray paint is like painting in a wind storm. Poor stick too.
HomeDepot was great until Covid.
Richmond Depot isles are numbered, but in random order. Why? Cant find anything. Prices now higher than Lowes.
Lowes selection is minimal, not usually what im looking for. I often $$$ettle.

They both have pros and cons. Lowes is better organized and better on plumbing and electric parts. Home depot is better lumber selection and better tools

Home depot does not have a better tool selection unless you have one of the big ones.
Overall I'd say lowes gets the W with the selection catagory.

Definitely Home Depot cause half the time when you find someone in either store they don’t know anything anyway. You gotta find the old guy in the back.

Lowe’s has a way better tool selection, hands down. Everything in Home Depot that was made in America has been changed to Chinese made for maximum profit. Home Depot has the stingiest clearance area with 1 dollar discounts offered. Lowe’s consistently has more name brand pro products. Home Depot is determined to become the Walmart of home centers.

The home depot in my town fucking sucks. Tool selection is ass and nothing is in stock. But the lows seems to have more options. Guess it depends on location?

I like Home Depot going there on monday to try and find some folks that need to buy a house investors
