Sham I think , even if Tulsi is a Hindu , for us Indians , the most important candidate again all be Donald Trump. Republican party is genuinely at least somewhat anti Pakistan. And that means it's pro India ( again for its own interests )
Yes , it's good to have a Hindu as president , but Tulsi cannot go beyond the agenda of democratic party . Democratic party is inherently anti India and pro Pakistan.

Tulsi Gabbard may be a practicing Hindu but not good for India. If every Hindu's becomes good for India than Mamta Banerjee, Kejriwal and all opposition goons would become pro Indian not anti Indian, even Nepal would become pro India.
We need to judge a person based on her qualities , skills and experience not based upon what she believes or practices on her personal life.

I think it will be in interest of India if US adopts an anti interventionist policy. It would be easier for India to control and manipulate Pakistan with these people not interfering. But the challenge is it will also lead to Taliban getting control of Afghanistan which is completely in favour of Pakistan. I don't think Tulsi will be the person who will run but, she'll make one hell of running mate. Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden or Beto O'Rourke anyone among these three will be running and their likely running mate would be Tulsi Gabbard.

While Jamarl seems to have an independent mind and is able to appreciate Potus Trump's rise (I've worked on the Trump campaign and I'm glad he GETS it, albeit only partially), he still has many misconceptions - especially with his thoughts about an avowed communist like Bernie and a total idiot like Ocasio Cortez! Ppl in comments are pretty quick to judge without doing their homework. As a american leader Mrs Tulsi G. is expected to work for Americans not Indians and its very ethical and right too. Having said that she has a good understanding of sanatana dharma than most Indians including ppl in here in comment section. And implementing those (principles of Dharma) in interests of America and whole world is what i expect and support her for.
Its not "Indians"!!. sanatana dharma makes no such distinctions. India had many prosperous kingdoms coexisting and sometimes fighting for same dharma.
