Unpopular opinion : I think Emily was a terrible girlfriend and here ´s why :

- She was very prejudice against Penny just because she has sex with Raj,

- She wanted to end up her friendship with Amy just because Raj made a bad first impression

- She purposely make Raj feel uncomfortable by constantly making murder jokes even tough he told her that it makes him anxious.

- She criticized Raj and Sheldon for having an inappropriate behavior while she is herself a freak who is obsessed with corpses and slash horror movies

- She wanted to have sex in a graveyard

I think Emily was perfect for Raj and he should've never broken up with her. If he decided to break up with her after meeting another girl, with that attitude he never deserved a girlfriend

The writers of the show missed out on Emily being a Domme and Raj being a Sub. The writing really fell off.

They have to kick Emily cause she would alter the show. If she stayed longer then the series would be more about her and Raj amaizing love relationship. It is very beautiful, though. But the Big Bang Theory is a series about scientist geeks not about normal people with normal relation. Penny Leonard is a suitable couple for BBT cause it represents a geek and a beauty. Sheldon Amy couple is also a right one cause it shows how geek couple might look like. But BBT made a huge mistake with Howard and Bernadette. Howard just became a boring familly man instead of a freak engineer. Without Bernadette he might invent more perverse inventions to compensate his incapability to have a traditional relation. Raj was actually only a side role cause BBT cannot really develope his character. Sheldon is an anti social egoistic scientist. Howard is a freak perverse engineer. Leonard is a geek who wants to be accepted as a normal guy. And Raj was supposed to be a shy Indian scientist who cannot really integrate in the western culture. But except Sheldon all characters are tranformed into more normal version. BBT made a small mistake by making Leonard more normal, they made bigger mistake by making Howard a good family man and if BBT gave Raj Emilly then BBT would change into a romance series.
