This is so sexist on many different levels and its also just sad. Having the idea that since you dont talk to ur father the person that u are isnt valid for this man is so brutally sad. What imput could the father provide if u dont even know his she was before cutting ties with her father or what kind of person her father was. With this logic if my dad is a cocaine addict and I cut him off from my life whoever I become through my choices isnt valid because my cocaine filled father didnt have a say in my life (also the choices i make should be personal, it doesent have sense to follow the lead of some other person because at that point is it really ur life?)
