But how does this impact my $15 Amazon special light
ОтветитьThere is no such thing as too much candela.
OKW Hog has entered the chat
dude can you please buy shirts that fit
ОтветитьDo you plan on reviewing the PA GLX 1-10?
ОтветитьWatched for gunstuff.
Enjoyed for info.
Liked for Tacti-Pooch.
How does this compare to the zbolt blazer? That's been my go to for ridiculous long throw
ОтветитьI had nothing but issues with their dual fuel technology. CR123A'S would work, but 18650 was d cell Maglite dim. I made a video about it, and every comment was about how other people had similar experiences or issues with flickering. No apologies. No recalls. Just "wait a few months for replacement parts, but first you have to send us your faulty light to prove we made a crap product." Months later, I got my replacement, and after testing it, sold it.
Never trusting Surefire again. It would be 1 thing if they admitted the technology wasn't ready and talked about what improvements they made to fix it, but they basically talked about this massive widespread problem with their lights like it was just a 1 off isolated incident.
Super shady.
When I got into WMLs, all I could afford was Streamlight, so thats what rode on all my guns.
Then a few years ago I was able to afford Surefire. I bought several Surefires to be part of the cool guy club. After several melted diodes, several warranty claims and an time of 6 months in for warranty on one of them before the Surefire Rep offered a different light as replacement (as "we do not have an expected time to get the parts to repair your light"). Ive ordered another Streamlight....
In my job I use a handheld multiple times a day, and my first Streamlight 2LX I bought for $50 and have had for many years in in my pocket way more than the $250 plus Fury or the now replacement Peacekeeper.
Looking into other offerings like Modlight, but really fear they will be the same big price for poor quality as Surefire.
I know Streamlight isnt end of the world Will Smith against the Robot Zombie Vampires, but at a fraction of the price, I can afford to replace them if I get consistent problems.
The original SF R&D team under their legendary chief engineer P.K. no longer work there for over a decade. The new young team now are struggling to find themselves and create products that used to propel SF above its competition.
ОтветитьUnless I need an IR head I’ll stick with the Pro Tac considering I can get 3 for the price of a Surefire.
ОтветитьThe hell is muscle grease??? No idea, but if you’re talking about elbow grease, well I got plenty in stock. LMK.
ОтветитьThis is my new GOTO light. Love the built in mount and clicky cap.
ОтветитьI have 2 of these and love them
ОтветитьLaughs in Rein 3.
Ответитьany good group recommendations for a price range of 100-200 usd, closer to 100usd? i know i need a light and dont really know what im looking for or if i should get a 35usd amazon light
Ответить"back on top" with a $400 wml that doesn't take scout mounts. As the market was starting to kill companies making $300 wmls...
ОтветитьWill still buy surefire to this day. They have never failed me under hard use like others i tried to "save on"
ОтветитьLooking forward to the Cloud vs Surefire vid
ОтветитьHow does this work w the Arisaka momentary tailcap? My normal m600df can have some sporadic flickering w the momentary tailcap, which is really annoying. Definitely want to see that light buyers guide, hopefully you'll do that in early 2024
ОтветитьI know this was a surefire review. But do you think it would be possible to do an optics review for the swampfox warhorse LPVO?
ОтветитьI keep hearing about this "goonbeam" and i lightly ;D researched it and i think it would be cool to hear your opinion on it :)
ОтветитьJust in time to get one on a good deal. Got it for $305 after shipping and taxes.
ОтветитьWhere did your chat with c does and hop go? I wasn’t don’t watching it yet ha
ОтветитьSadly, a five year old Powertac Huntsman curb stomps that.
Ответитьwe like your videos brother. if you are ever in FL, you are more than welcome to train with us.
ОтветитьI'll stick to my Weltools which still outperform this
ОтветитьWonder if you’d ever build out an AR-RPK and talk about the practicality/use of one for a civilian defense team
ОтветитьWhat mount are you using for your LPVO?
ОтветитьWould you buy this or the Rein 3.0?
ОтветитьIs the stock mlok swivel good enough or is the arisaka needed to get it nice and tight?
ОтветитьI got my 2 Rein 3.0s for only $270 on sale, and they came with outstanding pressure pads that I feel like I can actually trust. After having five separate streamlight pressure pads fail me on five separate lights, as well as 2 replacement pads from streamlight, I got tired of the BS.
I trust streamlight pistol lights and handhelds with my life, but I no longer trust their rifle lights/pressure pads. I'm definitely happy with my two Cloud Defensive lights. The Rein 3.0s are legit. 😊
Love the 640. It's great
ОтветитьHi, can a blazer lep head be swapped with the standard head.
ОтветитьDo any weapon lights have a low throw option, like for clearing your house? I know O-light had the valkyrie with a low blue light, like 5 lumens? (I only ever saw a ad for it).
ОтветитьIs something wrong with the dft models? Vs the scout reg battery type ?
ОтветитьThe algorithm requires engagement
ОтветитьREIN 3.0 on sale $300 and is complete, This SF on sale, $300 and needs a new tail cap and tape switch (say another $100 minimum)
REIN 3.0 is still brighter
Thanks for the info.. commenting to get the algorithm working
ОтветитьI am done with the UE tailcaps. One plug would recoil out on a 223 rifle, the second UE would flicker, the 3rd UE didn't work out of the sealed bag. Now running the 'Gascap' with a USB-C plug. Fingers crossed.
ОтветитьNice video !!! How do you think I can fix the flickering problem I'm having with my Modlite Plhv2 duel fuel 18650 with SureFire ds00 tailcap and Modlite modbutton lite switch. It's a $500 light set up and flickers. So damn annoying.. Any ideas ??
ОтветитьPrimary arms has these for 250 instead of 400 right now, primo deal 👌🏻
ОтветитьBoth of my 640df lights cut out under recoil }:
Ответитьany body know if i can put the KF2-A-DFT head on a Arisaka or Modlite 340 body without any adverse effects?
ОтветитьIt may be big, but it's not heavy
ОтветитьSo wait, Brass Facts, you think the Surefire Scout Turbo is better than the Cloud Rein 3.0? Like in terms of performance overall or just because of switch compatibility and such?
ОтветитьSorry, I'm really confused. What is the benefit of this light over the Rein 3.0? Or like the Weltool W65L (The LEP light with spill lens, which hits 175,000 candela and like 700 lumen). Or like a Z-Bolt high candela light? But especially the Rein 3.0... like is it better to have a smaller beam pattern on this light vs the Rein 3.0? Is it more practically usable vs the rein? Or is it literally just the higher battery life and the switch compatibility? Because the Rein 3.0 with a tail cap adaptor or the legacy body can use all the surefire stuff now.
ОтветитьAny issues with your DS00 and your turbo? Just bought one and it won’t work for mine, paranoid I got a clone. Seems like every pic I see had different tread.
Ответить+1 for the bonus doggo footage
ОтветитьI think ima go with a turbo
Ответить
