Makes me mad it's not a blind taste test. Otherwise good info
ОтветитьWhat happened to the breakfast skillet 😅 great and helpful video!
Ответить"Both are really good though!"
ОтветитьHelpful Video. My three top picks are the Peak Refuel Elk Ragu Pasta and the Bison Ranch Mashers and, lastly, the Homestyle Chicken & Rice.
ОтветитьYou missed the best meal ever made, Peak Sweet Pork and Rice is good enough to serve your wife on your anniversary. Mtn House Lasagna is really good too. I enjoy all of your content, thanks
ОтветитьThey both have good and bad ones, what i do is use peak on my days i need the extra calories.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this great information. I want to know bad your feet and hands swelled up and how long before you needed the bathroom 😅 Great Job guys. God's Blessings to you all and your family's
Ответитьpeak refuel venison country casserole + smoked sausage mixed in is the best thing I’ve ever ate on a mountain
ОтветитьThe public has been needing this video FOREVER!
ОтветитьI’m not sure where you got the info for the Peak chicken Alfredo, on their website it shows 53 gr of protein 870 calories.
ОтветитьI'm typically "Team Mtn House" for cost reasons, but Peak has my attention. Thinking I may need to try their curry and biscuits&gravy, as the Mtn House versions of those are two of my favorites and, looking at my Fall alpine mulie hunt that I drew, I'm probably going to be needing all the extra calories that the Peak options can give me.
ОтветитьPeak is the best by far. I've tried them all. Really wanted to like Heather's but can never get the right amount of hydration. Gastro Gnome is second.
ОтветитьYou guys need to try Wild Society freeze dried meals. I tried their biscuits and Gravy and it was soooooooo delicious 🤤
ОтветитьWhere is the chili mac?
Ответитьnot even a comparison. Once I tried Peak refuel 2 years ago I haven't bought a single mountain house
ОтветитьYall should have also compared the cost per meal and the calorie per weight (including the packaging).
Ответить“Put a little pepper in that and it be better” 🤨 how about yiu just judge the meals how they are… fuck let’s just add bacon to everything it’ll w taste better lol
ОтветитьThe big difference is Mountain House has a 30 year shelf life, while Peak Refuel has a 5 year shelf life. I do use both, Mountain House I store for long term emergency and Peak Refuel I take on our camping trips.
Ответитьadd 1 cup of instant rice to either curry chicken 1 olive oil packet , two tortillas, salt and pepper transfer to ziplock freezer bag and gourmet trail dinner with mega calories for both!
ОтветитьThis past weekend I had the PR Chicken Teriyaki for the first time and thought it was a good choice. I also noticed the PR has substantialy more protein in the meals than MH.
ОтветитьWould love to get you boys hooked up with the New ReadyWise Pro Meal lineup to try
ОтветитьEveryone says Peak has a 5 year shelf life... I called Peak and they noted they gave that 5 year life as they have been in business for only five years and didn't want to state something beyond their existence as a company. The spokes person I talked with noted their packaging is the same as Mountain house and others. I have no doubt their packages will last years beyond the stated 5! Call them! I'm stocking up!
ОтветитьPeak destroys mountain house
ОтветитьJust so you know beef stroganoff is made with sour cream.
ОтветитьGood morning from the Great State of Texas. What type of work do you guys do? Where is your shop? Do you have an internet site? I enjoyed this video. Thank you for making this type of video. What other video's have you guys made?
Ответитьmountain house has their "PRO PAK" variety. Also Costco has their "asian style" 24 pack which comes in 4 flavors, at about 7.50$ per pack. They tend to be higher in protein than their other menu items at about 20 grams or higher if consuming the entire pack.
ОтветитьI watched this on my phone. The specs were in too small if a font to read on my phone. So I didn't have enough info to make a decision.
ОтветитьLOOK AT THE SHELF LIFE OF BOTH
ОтветитьPeak Fuel hands down and with a military discount, even better! Wish MH would discount the same.
ОтветитьVery well put together video, the editing got rid of dead time. I am biased peak refuel is my favorite brand. I do love the shelf life of MH though. However, I always carry some Cayenne Pepper/Red Pepper with me. Both brands could use a little more kick sometimes. MH spaghetti with Red Pepper - wow, one of my favorites.
ОтветитьI prefer Peak refuel because most of them are nearly twice the calories and protein as mountain house. so it helps lower the pack weight if you split the meals into 2.
ОтветитьVery expensive compared to mh.
ОтветитьI lived off Mountianhouse for 2 months. The SALT in it CAUSED HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE,I ended up in the EMERGENCY ROOM. TELLus how much salt is in it.
Ответитьgood job guys
ОтветитьYou are on crack if you think peak beef stroganoff is better than mountain house. I think peak products are overall better but mountain house beef stroganoff is goated!
ОтветитьKill the background music. It's annoying and not needed.
ОтветитьPeak refuel homestyle chicken and rice is amazing
ОтветитьI have a few dozen mountain house packs in my storage. Two medium boxes filled. Now I’m gonna go get some peok refuel
ОтветитьI am shocked, 4 guys chose the higher caloric meal.
ОтветитьGirlfriend bought me a backpacking cook setup for my bday, tested it out with mtn house beef stew, currently watching while fat and happy 😂
ОтветитьI’ve had both and both need pepper ,salt and can use some hot sauce of choice. I like Chalula.
ОтветитьYeah I hate the unnecessary background music.
ОтветитьI've always preferred MH it's my go to, I tried a few of the peaks, but always find myself going back to MH, more bang for your buck
ОтветитьFreeze dried food is great for extreme long term storage and backpacking but it’s expensive and the meat is always CHEWY as fuuuukkkkk!!!!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 Happy Hanukkah✡️🕎❤️
Thanks for the review guys. I have been a fan of MH for a long time - old time backpacker. Peak is basically making a premium product. If you are buying this for an trip and not for prepping, given this review, I'd probably go with mostly the Peak. I'd still use some of the MH because they really do make a great product. Now, for prepping? Hands down MH. I just ordered 12, 2-serving entree MH pouches that were on sale to add to my preps. The Peak is twice the price - twice. So I can either get 24 servings of MH or 12 of the Peak. Again, there is no contest given that this is for SHTF. The MH is hands down the very best value for a meat included, quality product. I do have some Peak but it's very much a minor player in my stores.
ОтветитьYa Peak, Mt House to spicy/salty
Ответить
