Such a travesty, I skipped to come back to this recap and just finished watching it and I was a bit disappointed. A bit of decent body
horror but the story itself was lacking. Not a bad movie per se was just expecting a bit more especially based on the trailer

So they have to character assassinate Agnes (Cinderella) that she's sexually undisciplined and lost her virginity to justify the lady's children?
Hmm.... That's quite opposite to the real story.
Yet anyways, your behavior is mostly derived from your parents character and actions. That's why it's important to educate your children character is important as much or even more than looks.
If you obsess over material pleasure you'll eventually lose yourself.

This movie sounds really great, but what bothers me is that men's behaviour is so cartoonishly exaggerated here it almost screams "i was written by an angry feminist with issues towards males" 😂

Plot Twist: Alma actually goes to the other realm, and uses her good and kindess to take care of the animals of the forest, wild horses. She ends up meeting a kind Witch, who teaches her to tame wild beasts, and using the secrets of herbs and flowers and takes care of her and Elvira, for all beasts are beuatifull to her. Alma uses that.She takes care of Elvira, who now is desfigured, and grow up malnourished for becoming averse to eating anything. Alma grew up beautifully blessed by the forest enviorment, but hiden under a cloack of dirt, mud and moss she uses to blend in nature. She goes to a Kingdom to ask for food and help for one of her horses who needs milk. She comes to castle to ask for a glass, and brings flower to pay for it, a red rose. The Royal Lord of the palace, a young wealthy men who cares nothing but to eat well, dance and be acompany of beautifull maidens that care his ego, refuses her, thinking she is disgusting begger who looks liker dirt and smell like animals, and kicks and laughts of her. The Witch who took care of her, sees that, and ENRAGED said to Alma to go back and punish him, and gives her a rose, a diffrente one, this one black with posion thorns. She goes, and again the prince mocks her, but this time she points the rose to him, and the poison goes in his face, acidic, corruping his beauty into terrible scarts and pus bubles, similiar to the ones of a Bubonic Plague. The Witches laught and Alma see now the same she saw with her sister, that beauty is Ugly, Soon the whole party runs in fear, leaving the prince alone while the sickness runs trought her body, worst and worst. Alma thought, with a kind hearts, says that he was a evil man, but her sister also was, and she pay the price, but she would give him a chance, if he could make anyone fall in love with him, she would give a anditote...She would be back when the mists of the forest dissapear...In meanwhile, Elvira, still looking for her Beauty found a high tower of a ruined castle, in the middle of the woods, the highest tower in the valley. A perfect place to hide her...and maybe someone else.

I feel like they got a little inspiration from Ginger Snaps here and there

Alma was the only rational character and the only normal one❤❤❤
