How do you deal with boss yelling at you for making a mistake
ОтветитьDope video great content. Great information for anyone pursuing that Network Engineer Role.💯
ОтветитьGreat and invaluable info brother. After 45 years on this earth im starting to figure out my self and career path. 🎉 Thanks for the upload.
ОтветитьThis is a great video!
ОтветитьIf you're paying taxes at the end of tax season, your withholdings are incorrect. It's not an income issue.
ОтветитьAfter the CCNA, should i start appying for jobs? I have an intenrship already with Leidos as a help desk tech but i want a network position.
ОтветитьThat was an awesome presentation and something I needed I appreciate the content keep it going
ОтветитьCool wall background 😊😊
ОтветитьHello brother good video so far. I was let go from a Tech consultant position with one of the big server guys.
I have used my time to recertify CCNA but my resume isn't getting a lot of bites. Any tips?
What books do you recommend? Which helped you the most?
ОтветитьGreat video, you got a new sub. I've been a Network Engineer for almost a year now and I'm back studying for my CCNA to level up. Would love for you to do a in-depth video on routing protocols.
ОтветитьWhen I saw you call yourself the Network Ninja I subscribed immediately 😂
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThanks for being so honest, straightforward, and transparent, brother ✊🏿. Network is being quite interesting for me, preparing for Comptia Network +
ОтветитьI couldn't stop laughing when you made fun of the "you need to be passionate" attitude😂 Thanks for being real with us. I'm so tired of everyone being a corporate robot.
ОтветитьI.m going the Cisco Route, ccna then ccnp
ОтветитьThanks for this video. Really useful info there. I'd love to get your opinion on how someone with no IT experience can get an entry-level role. Would you have any insight on this? For example, without any IT experience, even if you have a cert, how can you get an interview for a NOC job?
ОтветитьI have zero experience but still got my CCNA a couple months ago. I am trying to get into the industry now here in DC and I did again a resume professionally done. I am pretty passionate about it myself and will try for ccnp in due time. But first I want and need the experience.
ОтветитьCan you do a real-life day in a life? Do you do any type of scripting or programming for networking? I heard automation is big using Ansible for router configurations etc. Would love to see the programming side of things.
ОтветитьLove the content btw
ОтветитьBeen in cybersecurity for a few months, and I honestly don’t care for it. When I was in school getting my degree networking always interested me. Now I’m trying to transition over to computer networking got my degree in IS and have Sec+, currently studying for the CCNA. Hopefully my IT experience will carry over if not I don’t mind starting off in a networking entry role. But as long as I’m going to work in computer networking I’m happy.
ОтветитьMuch appreciated!
ОтветитьHey
Thanks for sharing this..
Just want some things on network engineer, so currently im working in bpo sector and learning ccna for a good career growth.
Shall it will be in demand in India for upcoming days.
Just want moveout from bpo domain to network engineer will ccna help me out to change the domain
Great podcast, I’ve been in IT for 24 years, 5 of those years as a NOC Tech & Network Engineer at the beginning. Now I’m finding my way back to Net Engineering & Network Security. You’re spot on onmmany topics, jumping on the calls, practical knowledge, constant emerging technology and paying more taxes. I make a very good living but the higher my tax bracket reaches, the more I pay. I see good raises not held much after city, state and resident employment taxes.
ОтветитьGreat video!! I started by just going to college n taking a few beginner classes. Going for my comptia network + this summer!
ОтветитьThe realness of not having to be super passionate and never turn off… the amount of relief everyone would get it’s from hearing that.
ОтветитьThis is the most simple straight forward path in IT. Get your CCNA. Get a NOC role. Once you hit NOC 3 start looking for Jr Net Admin roles.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks for sharing your experience and tips!
ОтветитьI started learning networking a year ago and it's the first skill I ever prided myself on attaining. I genuinely enjoy learning networking and doing labs, but I think it comes with its own downsides which I'll explain with my personal story. After I got my CCNA, I started looking for jobs and recently I spoke with a recruiter and shared some personal projects I worked on and what I knew about networking. Though he was satisfied with my knowledge of networking, he said something that changed my perspective.
"I see you have a lot of educational experience which could potentially transfer over to the job."
and that's when I started to question myself a bit. I understand that experience trumps everything and that I'm no networking prodigy but it was kind of disheartening to hear that my educational experience only "potentially" transfers over. I do try to be open-minded about everything. No company wants to take a risk on an applicant with zero professional networking experience and the networking done in companies isn't always the same as what you'd do in the textbook. It takes time and patience to develop yourself but it does still suck.
To summarize, it all goes back to the good ole saying "How do I get experience without experience". For now, I'm just going to continue to move forward and study for the CCNP while looking for an employer who may give me a chance to apply my knowledge.
I appreciate the video man, it's helping me to move forward!
As someone who's trying to become a network engineer with almost nothing in my background this video gives me a lotta hope for my future. Thank you ❤
ОтветитьSalute bro. You cut no cards.❤
ОтветитьBruh only 8 minutes in love your video
You straight up. Im currently working in a NOC for a year, just got a raise, and thinking of leaving for a Network Admin position
