Great idea with the heavier line for the dropper. I use a similar set up for ice fishing. Usually with a tag end of a blood knot. Loops tied in the main line work but putting a doubled line through a small ice fly's eye is a pain. But that's vertical fishing. How do you rig that dropper tippet on your leader? Thanks again! 👍😎🍻

I also have a old G.Loomis GLX streamdance #6. I love it. Now i have LOOP Cross S1 mc/mf #7 9'6. I would like to go fishing in Denmark for Seatrout. Do you use flylines with short belly's?
